JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:45 and again at 00:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Mutala' hospital in Al-Tur neighborhood then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and clashed with several residents.

Detention

At 11:30, Israeli forces detained Fadi Othman Barikat {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.

Destruction of Property

At 11:00, Israeli forces demolished a merchant shop owned by Adnan Abu Wahdan in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On December 28th 2016, Israeli Occupation Planning Authorities in Jerusalem submitted blueprints for the construction of a building consisting of 3 floors on land occupied in 1967 in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitin village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabroud village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
3. At 11:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road near Ein Qinya village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
4. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up 7 checkpoints at the entrances of Abboud and Ni'lin towns, Um Safa, Al-Nabi Saleh, Deir Abu Mash'al, Shuqba and Deir Ibzi' villages then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Al-Misbah village and opened fire towards a civilian vehicles as they chased it then withdrew at 00:50.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Nouh Harish and Mohammad Nouh Harish in Beitunia town.

Attack

At 22:25, Israeli forces opened fire towards a civilian vehicle during their raid into Khirbithat Al-Misbah village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jalqamous village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Taybeh village, stormed and searched several homes and summoned 2 residents: Fathi Ahmad Gharaybeh and Ahmad Khaled Ahmad Gharaybeh to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At dawn on December 29th 2016, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

At dawn on December 28th 2016, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Saleem Omar Barbour during their raid into Jenin camp {as mentioned in the previous report}.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city until 04:15.

Temporary Detention

At 15:20, Israeli forces positioned in the area between Kafr Al-Labbad village and "Enav" settlement temporarily detained 3 residents: Sami Nasser Rafiq Rajab, Nasser Ahmad Rafiq Rajab and Mu'taz Nasser Rafiq Rajab then released them at 16:25.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Bi'r area located along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, stormed and searched a steel mill owned by Hamsallah Firas Radwan.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Billal Bassam Subhi Ammar in Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 22:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:15

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Madma village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Assira Al-Shimaliya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village until 14:40.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces raided Taloza village.
3. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biya area located in east Nablus city and clashed with several residents.
4. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Taloza village then stormed a home.
5. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qaryout village until 01:00.

At 17:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biya area located in east Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:45.

Raid

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area then withdrew at 22:50.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:45, a Israeli settler vehicle ran over Adham Yahya Shamlawi near the entrance of Harris village and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

At 16:45, Adham Yahya Shamlawi was hospitalized with contusions after he was run over by a Israeli settler vehicle near the entrance of Harris village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Dead Sea junction then searched residents and vehicles until 11:55.

BETHLEHEM

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:25.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nihalin and Husan villages then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.
3. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.
4. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Rabah village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 17:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Rashaydeh village and summoned 5 resiednts: Jamal Ali Mohammad Rashaydeh, Assad Mohammad Hassan Rashaydeh, Salameh Mohammad Hussein Abu Shu'eib, Hamza Salamah Mohammad Rashaydeh and Mohammad Suliman Muh'sien Al-Rashaydeh to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Ubeidiya camp in Bethlehem city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 19:15
3. At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Harmalat village until 24:00.

At 18:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ubeidiya camp in Bethlehem city

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up 8 checkpoints at Halhul bridge, the entrance of Al-Fa'hs area located in south Hebron city, at the entrances of Al-Samou' and Al-Thahriya towns and at the entrances of Beit Einoun, Raboud, Wadi Al-Shajnat villages and at Al-Fuwar junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Rayan mosque located in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town and summoned Alaa Mohammad Anati Id'is to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
4. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samou' town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ummar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:45, Israeli forces raided Dura town, stormed a home, temporarily detained 2 residents: Mohammad Yasser Badawi Hamdan and Musalim Taysir Bidawi Hamdan and released them at a later time then withdrew at 04:45.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town, stormed and searched a vehicle spare parts shop then withdrew at 04:45.
3. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:45.

Attack

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Aroub camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Tabaqa village junction fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

At 21:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Mohammad Yasser Bidawi Hamdan and Musalim Tayssir Bidawi Hamdan during their raid into Dura town the released them at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• • Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area from 300 to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month. On 3 April 2016 the decision to expand the fishing area from 6 to 9 nautical miles entered into effect but the Israeli authorities reduced the area back to 6 nautical miles on 26 June 2016.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
