WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town.

Detention

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Beit Ijza village detained 2 children: Mohammad Ali Dar Daud (16 years old) and Abdel-Nassar Farouq Sarhan Marar (16 years old) {Both are residents of Beit Duqqu village}.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Wad road in the old city of Jerusalem detained 3 residents: Adham Al-Shiyoukhi, Mahmoud Najeeb and Obadah Najeeb.
3. Israeli forces detained Majd Mohammad Darwish in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints in the area between Deir Ibzi' and Kafr Ni'me villages and at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Abboud town, stormed and searched several homes,temporarily detained 2 residents: Ali Hussien Mahmoud Abdel-Majeed and Ameed Mahmoud Sa'ed Dar Salah then released them at a later time and withdrew at 05:40.
2. At 06:05, Israeli forces raided Rantis village until 07:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Tamer Khatib Dar Salah, Kareem Izat Jaber, Salah Mohammad Abu Hussien, Mohammad Taher Abdel Majeed, Anas Ibrahim Ismail Abu Hussien and Rashed Shaheen Dar Jaber in Abboud town.

Temporary Detention

At 03:10, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents:Ali Hussien Mahmoud Abdel-Majeed and Ameed Mahmoud Sa'id Dar Salah during their raid intro Abboud town then released them at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, stormed and searched several homes then detained 4 residents.

Detention

1. At 04:45 on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Arqawi during their raid into Jenin city in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ehab Sa'id Nijim Kamil , Wael Omar Hassan Kamil, Ahmad Yunis Abu Al-Rub and Mohammad Faysal Kamil in Qabatiya town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Taysir checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 03:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Aqaba and Tayassir villages then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:50, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed Khilat Hamad area located in the North Jordan Valley area and prevented several shepherds from herding their livestock in the area.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13;20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Lid town then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08;30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Kedumim" settlement, temporarily detained a National Security Force Officer: Thaer Husni Nizar {A resident of Qalqilya city} then released him at a later time.

Raid

At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town and served a military order for the demolition of a water network and a live stock shed owned by Kamal Shawahna.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near "Kaddumim" settlement detained Mustafa Darwish Abu Khadijat.

Temporary Detention

At 17:10, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near "Kiddumim" settlement temporarily detained a National Security Force Officer: Thaer Husni Nizar {A resident of Qalqilya city} then released him at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at Sabastiya village junction, Al-Masu'adiya area and near "Shave Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Burqa village and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces raided Jam'ain town until 12:15.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 14:00.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Einbweis village.
4.At 23:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, Balata and Askar camps as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb in Nablus city, clashed with several residents , detained 2 residents including a child then withdrew at 04:10.
5. At 07:15, Israeli forces raided Tel village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint detained Ahmad Fawaz Ahmad Odah {A resident of Tulkarem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mustafa Billal Hisham Abu Shanab {17 years old} and Adam Hussien Abu Jamilah in Askar camp in Nablus city.

Attack

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sabastiya village.
2. At 23:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb their raid into Nablus city, Balata and Askar camps.

Assaults on Property

At 05:00 on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces removed 30 families from their homes in Khirbiet Tana area located in east Beit Furiq until 17:00 for alleged military training in the area.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town until 12:30.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town until 17:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at south Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:15.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22;35, Israeli forces raided Wadi Rahal town until 02:00.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained 2 residents.
3. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 14:25.
4. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 04:45.
5. At dawn on February 23rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched several homes then detained 4 residents.

Detention

1. At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces detained 3 residents : Badr Abu Arqoub, Mohammad Safi Al-Haroub and Diy'a Jum'a Haja during their raid into Dura town.
2. Israeli forces detained Khalaf Hussien Al-Amour in Yatta town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents : Yacoub Al-Hieh and Ibrahim Hamdan Subieh Abu Fara in Surif town.
4. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ehab Issa Al-Alami, Alaa Basam Al-Alami, Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Alami and Ahmad Al-Alami in Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

•The The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:20 on February 22nd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya.

Injuries

At 08:00 on February 21st 2017, Israeli Naval forces injured Mohammad Imran Sabri Bakr and temporarily detained him after opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report} and released him at 23:00.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 07:00 on February 22nd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:00 on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
