WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Shu'fat military checkpoint in Jerusalem city and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' Military checkpoint, temporarily detained several University students from Al-Quds University then relkeased them after questioning by Israeli Intellegnce officers.

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance of Qalandiya village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:55.

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:00, Israeli force fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Physical Assault

At 17:00, Israeli forces assaulted the child Adam Munthir Al-Rajabi (11 years old) near Batn Al-Hawa area in Silwan neighborhood.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:50.
2. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitunia town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.

Raid

1. At 09:20 and again at 04:45 on February 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village until 07:45.
2. At 16:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, occupied the home of Ahmad Saleem Mohammad Safwan which is located near "Psagot" settlement on the east area of the city then converted its rooftop into a Military post.
3. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Al-Misbah village.
4. At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:55, a group of Israeli settlers escorted by Israeli Military forces stormed agricultural land in Sahil area located in Turmus'aya town during which they detained 2 residents: Hijaz Abdel-Qadder Hijaz and Mazin Ibrahim Hijaz as they attempted prevent the settler attacks.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Othamn A'rabi Nakhlah and Jihad Mohammad Ali Fuqiya in Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hijaz Abdel-Qadder Hijaz and Mazin Ibrahim Hijaz who attempted prevent the settler attacks in Sahil area located in Turmus'aya town.

House Occupation

At 16:25, Israeli forces occupied the home of Ahmad Saleem Mohammad Safwan which is located near "Psagot" settlement on the east area of the city then converted its rooftop into a Military post during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at Ti'inik village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.At 10:40, Israeli forces raided A'nin village , stormed a home then withdrew at 14:20.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces raided Ti'inik village.
3. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.
4.On the evening of February 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Taybeh village then stormed several merchant shops.
5. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Sabah Al-Khier neighborhood in Jenin city, Jalqmus and Um Al-Tut villages until 22:30.
6. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Da'if village until 22:30.
7. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town until 04:00.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Migola" settlement located in the North Jordan valley area then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nur Al-Shams camp in Tulkarem city until 03:25.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Thulth town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village, temporarily detained Mahmoud Kamal Baker Mara'ba {A resident of Kafr Thulth town} and released him at a later time then withdrew at 15:30.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and handed out leaflets warning residents against stone throwing near the main road] in Azzun town.
3. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Tayassir village, stormed a coffee shop then withdrew at 00:50.

Temporary Detention

At 09:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained Mahmoud Kamal Baker Mara'ba {A resident of Kafr Thulth town} during their raid into Kafr Thulth town and released him at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:20.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Osarin village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:20.

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Askar camp, detained 3 residents {including a National Security Force officer} then withdrew at 04:50.

Detention

1. At 01:40 on February 5th 2017, Israeli forces detained Anas Ahmad Ali Abdel-Fattah during their raid into Nablus city in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Attallah Mohammad Al-Afghani, Adnan Fawzi Mohammad Bushkar and Mohammad Alaa Bushkar in Askar camp in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Qurwat Bani Hassan town and confiscated surveillance camera footage after an alleged firebombing attack near the main road then withdrew at 23:30.

1. At 07:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Khader town then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.

Raid

1. At dawn on February 5th 2017 and again at 19:55, Israeli forces raided Husan village, detained a child after storming and searching his home then withdrew at 21:00.
2. At 07:40 on February 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town.
3. At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town then stormed a home.
4. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem sity until 07:20.
5. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city until 02:45.

Detention

1. On February 5th 2017, Israeli forces detained Hamza Rashed Issa {A resident of Al-Khader town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Raed Ibrahim Hamara {16 years old} in Husan village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up 9 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Fah's area in south Hebron city, West entrance of Dura town, Ithna town, Deir Sammit village, Al-Fuwar camp and at Beit Awwa and Al-Samou' town and Zif village junctions and near Al-Haraq area next to "Haji" settlement in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arub camp, temporarily detained Ziyad Jawabra {A National Security Force officer} released him at a later time then withdrew at 13:00.
3. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Sahab area junction located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

Raid

1. At dawn on February 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, detained 3 residents, stormed and searched "Infinity" print shop and summoned the owner Mu'/taz Ju'beh to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 16:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Thaher area in Tafuh town.
3. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya and Dura towns and detained a resident after storming and searching his home in Tarqumiya town.
4. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Yatta and Al-Samou' towns until 00:40.
5. At dawn on February 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and detained 3 residents.
7. At dawn on February 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jibril Shaher Al-Atrash, Naji Hamdi Abu Khalaf and Nader Abdel-Hafith Abu Maliya in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Khalil Ja'afra in Tarqumiya town.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Khader Mohammad Tumayzi, Adel Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Assad and Moayad Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Assad in Ithna town.
4. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Omar Mahmoud Mustafa Ghanimat, Mohammad Ahmad Ghanimat and Mohammad Anwar Ameen Faroukh in Surif town.

Temporary Detention

At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Aroub camp temporarily detained Ziyad Jawabra {A National Security Force officer} then released him at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• Israeli Military forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Central Gaza and Rafah Districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:30 on February 5th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 09:30 on February 5th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on February 5th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
