Daily Report January 18, 2017

1. At dawn on January 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on January 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Jaderat village and detained 2 residents.
3. At 14:10 and again at 03:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town until 05:20.
4. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and stormed a merchant shop.
5. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and vehicle maintenance Garage and as a result injured 5 residents: Ali Khaled Hamad, Basil Jamal Sbitani, Mohammad Sameer Yacoub Dar Yacoub, Mohammad Jameel Yacoub Ziyad and Anas Shihadeh leaving them hospitalised with contusions.

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces detained Obieda Abu Adheem in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Issa Darbas in Al-Eisawiya village.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Nizar Qassim and Ahmad Ibrahim Qassim in Al-Jaderat village.

At 23:45, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a carwash and car maintenance garage and as a result injured 5 residents: Ali Khalid Hamad, Basil Jamal Sbitani, Mohammad Sameer Yacoub Dar Yacoub, Mohammad Jameel Yacoub Ziyad and Anas Shihadeh and as a result left them hospitalised with contusions.

At 23:45, Israeli forces injured 5 residents: Ali Khalid Hamad, Basil Jamal Sbitani, Mohammad Sameer Yacoub Dar Yacoub, Mohammad Jameel Yacoub Ziyad and Anas Shihadeh during clashes in Qalandiya camp and as a result left them hospitalised with contusions.

On January 17th 2017, Israeli Authorities forced Firas Salah Ahmad Mahmoud to demolish his home in Al-Eisawiya village and forces him to pay a heft financial penalty.

At 23:45, Israeli forces demolished a car wash owned by Mohammad Al-Louzi and a Vehicle maintenance garage owned by Abed Al-Malah.

At 16:10 and again at 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bridge then searched resiednts and vehicles until 21:55

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Kobar village, detained a child then withdrew at 04:00.

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ti'inik village then withdrew at 18:15.

At 15:50, Israeli forces closed "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic for vehicles travelling to Tulkarem city.

At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Allar town then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.

At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned near the Wall Gate near Far'oun village detained 2 residents: Majdi Ahmad Abdel-Qadder Obied and Moath Yasser Mohammad Atta Awad {both residents of Far'oun village} as they were on the agricultural land which is located near the wall gate despite the fact they had valid permits to enter their land.

At 17:45, Israeli forces positioned at Wall Gate (104) located in Tulkarem city opened fire towards and killed Nidal Doud Sa'ed Mihdawi {44 years old} {A resident of Shuwika neighborhood in Tulkarem city}.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jinsafout village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:20.

At 17:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Beit Furiq village and Beit Dajanan village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

At 23:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured Mohammad Riyad Sa'id Hashash and detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:25.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Moath Tal'at Ali Sah and Ismail Amjad Al-Takrouri in Nablus city.

At 23:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb in Nablus city and as a result injured Mohammad Riyad Sa'id Hashash.

Israeli forces injured Mohammad Riyad Sa'ed Hashash during confrontations in Nablus city.

At 13:00, Israeli forces demolished the home of Ahmad Mohammad Hamdan Bani Fadil during their raid into Khirbit Al-Taweel area located in east Aqraba town.

At 16:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions in Za'tara junction and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:45.

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:45.

1. At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Salfit city, positioned near The Palestinian National Security Headquarters and took photographs of the headquarters then withdrew at 04:00.

At 12:25, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara checkpoint junction temporarily detained Salam Bassam Thiyab Abu Hassan {A National Security Force officer} then released him after taking him to "Ariel" settlement.

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Al-Jabir camp in Jericho and temporarily detained the child :Sarah Nael Baker Al-Hindi {16 years old} then released her at a later time.

2. Israeli Forces detained Mahdi Talib Al-Sheikh and Yazan Mohammad Al-Shiekh in Marah Rabah village.
3. Israeli forces detained Anis Mash'hour Hamamrah in Husan village.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and stormed a home.
2. At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Abu Al-Asja village, stormed a vehicle spare parts garage and detained a resident.
3. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Safa village and stormed a home.
4. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Dura town , detained a resident then withdrew at 11:55.

1. Israeli forces detained Nidal Musa Shawamra in Abu Al-Asja village.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Haytham Abu Atwan in Dura town.

At 18:00, an Israeli settler vehicle travelling along a road near Jabal Jalis area located in the old city of Hebron ran over and injured the child: Layan Ayed Al-Razim {5 years old} and as a result left her hospitalised with contusions.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 07:00 on January 16th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 2 fishermen then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.
2. At 08:10 on January 17th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

1. At 09:00 on January 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Midhat Awad Karam {A merchant} {A resident of Gaza city}.
2. At 14:00 on January 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Hazim Abdel-Hadi Ahmad Tamoun {A merchant} {A resident of Khan Yunis city}.
3. At 12:00 on January 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Omar Nizar Abu Assad {A resident of Deir Al-Balah city} as he was accompanying his ill mother: Asma Al-Sayed Abu Assad who returning from Ramallah where she was receiving treatment.

Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards and injured Khaled Khaled Abu Rayala {A resident of Al-Shat'a camp in Gaza city} off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Mohammad Ghalib Al-Sultan and Awarnas Sharif Al-Sultan ff the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
