WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns and Al-Shiekh Sa'id village until 04:30.

Detention

1. On March 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ali Afaneh {A resident of Abu Dis town} as he attempted to enter Jerusalem city.
2. On March 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained Yusef Odah Yacoub {A resident of Qalandiya camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints near Atarah town bridge and at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

Raid

1. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Ein Yabroud village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 04:30.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and clashed with several residents.

Demonstrations

1. At 12:50, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during.
2. At 12:50, a demonstration took place in Nil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in Nil'in village.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ein Yabroud village.
3. At 23:25, Israeli forces stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Jalazoun camp.

TULKAREM

At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ramin village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

At 17:35, Israeli forces raided Zieta town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Habalah town until 16:00.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city and clashed with several residents.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces fired , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Qabalan town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Osarin village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

Raid

At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village , clashed with several residents and as a result injured Ahmad Shawqi Al-Sha'er leaving him hospitalized.

Attack

At 17:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed archaeological sites during their raid into Sabastiya village and as a result injured Ahmad Shawqi Al-Sha'er leaving him hospitalized.

Injuries

Ahmad Shawqi Al-Sha'er was injured after he was struck by a tear gas grenade canister during confrontations in Sabastiya village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town, temporarily detained Mohammad Darar Jaber Shuqier and released him at a later time then withdrew at 17:30.

Temporary Detention

At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town temporarily detained Mohammad Darar Jaber Shuqier and released him at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:05.

Raid

At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village until 23:15.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:10.

Detention

On March 15th 2017, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mahmoud Ahmad Sabah Radaydah, Khalil Muqdi Subieh Raba'ya and Doud Yusef Muqdi Subieh in Al-Ubeidiya town.

Attack

At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up 7 checkpoints at the entrances of Huwar area {Located at the North entrance of Halhul town} and Farsh Al-Hawa area in North entrance Hebron city {located at bypass road (35)},in Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city, Al-Fuwar camp, Al-Thahriya town, Raboud village and Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Dura town, detained a resident and confiscated his vehicle.

Detention

1. At 15:35, Israeli forces detained Fawzi Jum'a Mohammad Jaber in Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained Yusef Abdel-Azziz Qazaz in Dura town.

Demonstrations

1. At 12:30, a demonstration took place in Qalaqis village located in south Hebron city protesting against the closure of the village entrance.
2. At 14:30, a demonstration took place in Al-Tuwani village located in east Yatta town protesting against land confiscation and settler violence in the area

Attack

At 20:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arub camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result killed the child Murad Yusef Abu Ghazi {17 years old} and critically injured Sayef Al-Din Saleem Rushdi {18 years old}.

Killings

The child Murad Yusef Abu Ghazi {17 years old} was killed by Israeli forces after they opened fire towards him during confrontations near Al-Arub camp.

Injuries

Sayef Al-Din Saleem Rushdi {18 years old} was critically injured after Israeli forces opened fire towards him during confrontations near Al-Arub camp.

Confiscation of Property

At 10:45, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Yusef Abdel-Azziz Qazaz after they detained him during their raid into Dura town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination

Attack

At 13:30 on March 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in North Beit Lahiya town as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:30 on March 17th 2017,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:30 on March 17th 2017, ,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents in east Al-Burij camp as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Detention

At 10:00 on March 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident in east Al-Buriej camp as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 09:30 on March 17th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
