WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Ram town and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:35.

Raid

1. At 17:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Salam neighborhood in Anabta town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. At dawn on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Bustan area in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city detained Mohammad Yassin Al-Rajabi after storming his home.
2. On March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces detained Maher Sarhan in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near Qalandiya Military Checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents including a child : Ahmad Ali Ahmad Shihadeh (12 years old) and Diya' Mohammad Hajouj leaving them hospitalised.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat checkpoint in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Abu Dis town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents including a child : Ahmad Ali Ahmad Shihadeh (12 years old) and Diya' Mohammad Hajouj during confrontations near Qalandiya military checkpoint.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At dawn on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Sinjil town and detained a University student.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Aroura town, Mazari' Al-Nubani and Qarwat Bani Zied villages, summoned 2 residents: Mohammad Ma'zouz Sanif and Nidal Iz Al-Din Sanif {both residents of Qarwat Bani Zied village} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Husam Ra'fat Mansour {A University student} in Sinjil town.

Demonstrations

1. At 12:40, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:40, a demonstration took place in Nil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting agianst land confiscation for the purpose of Israeli settlement expansion during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators participating in a demonstration against agianst land confiscation for the purpose of Israeli settlement expansion.

JENIN

Raid

On the evening of March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town and Zuwaba village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Detention

At 16:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Samir Mohammad Shabtiya and Omar Mu'in Hussien {Both residents of Azzun town} in south Azzun town.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured Ahmad Shawar {A Journalist}.

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village and as a result injured Ahmad Shawar {A Journalist}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ahmad Shawar {A Journalist} during confrontations in Kafr Qaddum village.

Temporary Detention

At 16:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 4 children:Mohammad Araf Dahbour, Thaer Safa Abed, Anas Zahran Shabtiya and Mustafa Yasser Shabtiya in south Azzun town then released them at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al- Bithan and Al-Far'a village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up 4 checkpoints near "Yitshar"settlement,at Beit town, Osarin and Einbuius villages then searched resiednts and vehicles until 19:20.

Raid

At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 02:35.

Attack

At 01:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Bruqin and Kafr Al-Dik towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 18:45, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara Military checkpoint detained Rami Tayil Yusef {A resident of Bardala village in Nablus district}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

Raid

At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Husan village until 20:30.

Attack

At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 14:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the west entrance of Teqou' town, blocked the entrance thus preventing residents and vehicles from entering the withdrew under the protection of Israeli Military forces.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Al-Huwar area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town}, at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.

Detention

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces detained Azmi Mohammad Hamad Al-Qawasmi {A resident of Hebron city} near Farsh Al-Hawa area in North Hebron city.
2. On March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint in the old city of Hebron detained Mohammad Al-Fakhouri.

Attack

1. At 20:10, Israeli forces positioned near Ali Baqa Mosque in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned near a Military tower located at the entrance of Beit Ummar opened fire towards the area for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza , Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 3 residents including a child and a critically injured residents.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 16:30 on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts in Abu Samra area located in North West Beit Lahiya town as they were participating in demonstrations protesting against the Israeli Military and settlers assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque and residents and as a result injured a child.
2. At 20:15 on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards 2 residents near the border fence and as a result injured 2 residents including one critically injured.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured the child Mustrafa Suliman {17 years old} during confrontations in Abu Samra area located in North West Beit Lahiya town as they were participating in demonstrations protesting against the Israeli Military and settlers assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque and residents.
2.Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents after opening fire towards them near the border fence in North West Beit Lahiya.

Detention

At 08:00 on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces detained 3 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence in North Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:00 on March 3rd 2017,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:30 on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town.
2. At 12:30 on March 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 172 residents returning from Egypt..
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
