Encircling Occupied Jerusalem: Cementing the Annexation Eastward

This infographic illustrates how Israel's colonial settlement enterprise aims to limit the potential for developing the Eastern gateway to occupied Jerusalem, divide and fragment the Palestinian neighborhoods, and ensure a demographic Jewish majority in the city.  Israel's objective in Jerusalem is to establish irreversible and exclusive control over the city and prevent its partition, thus disabling any prospect for the viability of East Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine.
