Daily Report December 10, 2016

At 01:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Ram town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on December 9th 2016, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Mus'ab Al-Rajabi (16 years old} and Thaer Abu Subieh in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Hata Gate in the old city of Jerusalem detained Mohammad Abu Farha and Ma'moun Ghayth.

1. At dawn on December 9th 2016, Israeli forces raided Ras Kar Kar village and detained a resident.
2. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city, stormed a building then withdrew at 03:20.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Zied village and summoned Islam Mut' Rizq to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 04:25.
4. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Silwad town.

Israeli forces detained Nour Salah Nofal in Ras Kar Kar village.

1. At 12:30, a demonstration took place in Nil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

4. At 15:20, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of "Psagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Ya.bad town until 12:30.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Hashmiya, Kafr Qud , Al-Manshiya and Kafrit villages until 03:05.
3. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Araba town until 01:35.

At 16:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Halba town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations At 12:45, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 14:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:30.

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yizhar" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 00:30.

1. At 09:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:40.
3. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahour city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Um Al-Kheir village located in east Yatta town until 18:00.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination as well as permits for 100 residents to pray at Al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem in coordination with UNRWA.

At 08:55 on December 9th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jabaliya town.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:30 on December 9th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured a resident.
