Daily Report January 4, 2017

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up 5 checkpoints in Al-Eizariya, Abu Dis towns, Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya village and at the entrances of Anata and Hizma towns then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 16:35 and again at 22:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, clashed with several residents then detained a resident.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Jib village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, stormed and searched 3 homes then assaulted Kareem Ghazwiyat.

1. At 02:45 on January 3rd 2017, Israeli forces detained Sami Abu Ghaliya during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.
2. On the morning of January 4th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Assad and Wissam Sader in Bab Hata neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. Israeli forces detained Zeid Al-Ajlouni in Al-Eisawiya town.

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Jib village.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

At 01:15, Israeli forces assaulted Kareem Ghazwiyat during their raid into Al-Ram town.

1. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Beit Ur Al-Foqa and Beit Ur Al-Tahta villages then searched residents and vehicles until 18:25.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
3. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched resiednts and vehicles until 20:00.
4. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud village bridge, temporarily detained 2 residents: Ahmad Mahmoud Jum'a and Ahmad Hussien Jabarat then withdrew at 22:25.
5. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rantis village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

1. At dawn on January 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Deir Jarier village and detained a resident.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Mazar'i Al-Nubani village and summoned Ahmad Abedel Azziz Damarat to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 07:20.
3. At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Qubiya village and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Haleem Farajna in Deir Jreir village.
2. Israeli forces detained Sa'id Yusef in Qubiya village.

At 20:10, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Ein Yabroud village bridge temporarily detained 2 residents: Ahmad Mahmoud Jum'a and Ahmad Hussien Jabarat {both residents of Ein Yabroud village} then released them at a later time.

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near North Jenin city roundabout and clashed with several residents.

1. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Khaljan village and detained 4 residents.
2. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Salah Mohammad Mansour Manasrah, Jihad Mohammad Mansour Manasrah, Husam Jameel Al-Khateeb and Wael Mohamed Mansour Manasrah in AL-Khaljan village.
2. Israeli forces detained Yusef Mohammad Amarnah in Ya'bad town.

At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city until 02:50.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 4 residents then withdrew at 02:50.

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mus'ab Mohammad Abdel-Kareem Quzah, Fahed Osama Mohammad Yasseen, Hussien Hilmi Abu Shanab and Usayed Kamal Awad in Tulkarem city.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Nablus road then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town, clashed with several residents and detained a child.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinsafut village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Jinsafout village, served military orders for the demolition of 2 residential structures owned by Majed Yusef Saker and Abdel-Fattah Rashid Mohammad Bashir for allegedly being built without a licence.

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Azzun town detained the child: Samer Sa'ed Ismail Radwan {15 years old} {A resident of Azzun town}.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shomron"settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.
2. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Madma village then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.

At 16:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Zaatara checkpoint until 16:45.

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:20.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Bidya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town and detained a resident.
2. At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Harris village, served a military order for the demolition of 3 homes ownedAli Hussien Jaber, Waleem Talib Daoud and Loia Talib Daoud and also ordered the removal of a Fuel tank owned by Ma'moun Mohammad Ammen and also ordered the demolition of a carwash owned by Fadi Hasim Soliman.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Iskaka village and stormed 2 homes.
4. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town and clashed with several residents as they stormed a coffee shop.
5. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Salfit city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:35.

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Marwan Adwan Abu Zaya in Kafil Harris town.

At 21:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a coffee shop during their raid into Al-Zawiya town.

1. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Fuqin village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.
3. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' then searched residents and vehicles until 19:10.
4. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
5. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

1. On January 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Faradees village and detained 3 residents.
2. At dawn on January 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city and summoned Yasmin Abdel-Rahman Abu Sarour {20 years old} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Karmah village then searched residents and vehicle until 11:30.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Tabaqa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4.At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ummar town then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on January 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town and detained a resident.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces raided Halhoul town, stormed a home and detained 2 residents.
3. At 18:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town until 19:40.
4. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:30.
5. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Khursa village, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:30.
6. At dawn on January 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident
7. At dawn on January 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp and detained 4 residents [including a child}.
8. At dawn on January 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Aruob camp and detained a resident.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
