Daily Report January 8, 2017

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Shiekh Al-Sa'ed and Al-Sawahrat villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anabta town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:00.

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis towns.
2. On the evening of January 7th 2017,Israeli forces positioned near the north junction of Al-Ram town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road connecting Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:20.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints located near Ein Sinya village roundabout, at the entrances of Ein Yabroud and Khirbithat Al-Misbah villages then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Kobar village, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home and summoned Ahmad Ibrahim Hamdan Abu Al-Haj to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 05:30.

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles, temporarily detained 2 residents: Khalil Abdel-Hadi and Ahmad Mohammad then released them at a later time and withdrew at 00:20.
2. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinsafut village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 11:35 and again at 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village, detained a resident then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 14:20 and again at 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jit village then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Habalat town then searched residents and vehicles.

Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village detained Alaa Issa Al-Duweri {A resident of Qalqilya}

At 23:10, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the east entrance of Qalqilya temporarily detained 2 residents: Khalil Abdel-Hadi and Ahmad Mohammad then released them at a later time.

At 15:40, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Deir Ballout town, the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town and the North entrance of Marda village.

On the evening of January 7th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological and religious sites during which they clashed with several residents.

At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Eliyaas Ramzi Gorege Hush {A resident of Bethlehem city}.

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Salmona village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.

1. At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:30.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Obidiya town, stormed the home of Nayef Ali Salah and confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 00:20.
3. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 children.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Doud Mohammad Thawabteh {17 years old} and Diya Mohammad Dariyat {16 years old} in Beit Fajjar town.

At 19:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nihalin village.

At 20:15, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage from a home owned by Nayef Ali Salah during their raid into Al-Ubeidiya town.

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city {along bypass road 35 near Halhul bridge} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Aroub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 19:35, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured Salah Abdallah Harahsha {14 years old} and detained a resident.
2. On the evening of January 7th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron and detained Mohammad Mahmoud Issa Abu Aram {A resident of Yatta town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ameen Ali Musa Manasrah in Bani Na'im town.
3. Israeli forces detained Khaldoun Abdel-Qadder Mohammad Khalil in Beit Ummar town.

At 19:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured the child Salah Abdallah Hararsha (14 years old) during their raid into Bani Na'im town.
