WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Physical Assault

At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood in Jerusalem city assaulted Mazin Al-Shuwiki {A resident of Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.

Deportation

On March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces removed Zien Al-Majad {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound}{A resident of Jerusalem city} from compound for a period of 3 after he was detained.

Destruction of Property

On March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces sealed off the home of Fadi Qanbar {who was killed by Israeli forces} with cement blocks{for the 2nd consecutive day} in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:05.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge, detained a residents then fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents crossing through the checkpoint.

Raid

At dawn on March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Deir Nathim village , temporarily detained a child then withdrew at a later time.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near Atarah bridge detained Mohammad Foad Abu Al-Haj {A resident of Deir Al-Sudan village}.

Temporary Detention

At dawn on March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child: Raghib Abdel-Rahman Al-Tamimi {14 years old} during their raid into Deir Nathim village then released him at 22:25.

Attack

1. At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned at a Military watch tower located near "Bet El" settlement located along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp opened fire towards a vehicle and as a result killed a child and injured 3 others.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned near Atarah town bridge fired stun and tear gas grenades towards residents and vehicles passing through the checkpoint.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Killings

The child: Mohammad Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Hatab {17 years old}{A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp} was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards a vehicle along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Jasim Mohammad Nakhlah {18 years old}, Ahmad Mohammad Zied {18 years old}, Mohammad Musa Nakhlah {18 years old} they opened fire towards a vehicle along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:05, Israeli settlers assaulted Kamal Shartih near Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Silah Al-Harthiya village then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:50.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Baqa Al-Shariqya town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 18:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 22:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Qassam Abdel-Hafith in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 15:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.

Raid

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Wazan village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 17:30.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Bithan village until 19:55.
3. At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Askar camp in Nablus city until 20:30.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:35, Israeli settlers levelled a plot of agricultural land in Qaryout village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Bruqin and Kafr Al-Dik towns then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Yasuf village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 16:05, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town , temporarily detained 3 children and released them at a later time then withdrew at 17:25.

Temporary Detention

At 16:05, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 children: Mahmoud Ghassan Fasoul {17 years old}, Anas Abdel-Jabbar Hadrous {17 years old} and Mu'taz Ahmad Ismail Al-Dik {14 years old} then released them at 18:00.

JERICHO

Detention

At 19:10, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Mahmoud Naji Kamil {A resident of Qabatiya town} as he was returning from Jordan.

Temporary Detention

At 19:20, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge temporarily detained Ali Dar Ali {A journalist} as he was travelling to Jordan then released him at a later time.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Jericho city} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:15.
2. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:05.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:05.
4. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 22:35.

Raid

On March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Um Salmuna village , stormed a cement brick factory and confiscated a bulldozers and a loading truck.

Detention

On March 22nd 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 children: Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shuli {17 years old} {A residents of Beteir village}, and Rabia Yasser Salim Hamamra {15 years old}{A resident of Husan village}.

Attack

At 18:20,Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

On March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozers and a loading truck as they stormed a cement brick factory a during their raid into Um Salmuna village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at Wadi Al-Juz area {located at the entrance of Bani Na'im town}, at the entrance of Al-Fahis area located in south Hebron city and at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 12:45.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Yatta town until 04:15.

Attack

At 17:40, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Dawarat area located near Sa'ir town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces closed Beit Einoun village jucntion with a steel gate and impeded the free flow of traffic.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 019:30 on March 23rd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

On March 20th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained 4 residents: Sa'id Mahmoud Ibrahim Bader {A resident of Beit Lahia town in northern Gaza district}, Amin Ayad al-Nahhal {A resident of Rafah city}, Nader al-Maghrabi {A resident of of Gaza City}, and Saqr Mahmoud Mohammed Abu Saqr{A resident ofAl-Zawaida town in central Gaza district}.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 05:00 on March 23rd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city and detained 2 fishermen after confiscating their fishing boat.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents of Rajab Khalid Rajab Abu Riala and Khader Marwan Awad Al-Saidi {both of whom are residents of Shati refugee camp in Gaza City}off the shores of Gaza city.

Confiscation of Property

At 05:00 on March 23rd 2017, Israeli Naval forces confiscated a fishing boat off the shores of Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
