Daily Report March 9, 2017

1. At 09:00 and again at dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident after storming and searching his home.
2. At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp and detained 2 residents.

1. At 02:00 on March 8th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Alaa Al-Shubaki and Olwa Al-Rashq during their raid into Al-Ram town.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained Issa Al-Halaq {Head of Al-Aqsa Mosque Rehabilitation committee} in Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
3. At 13:10, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nabeel Abdel-Rahman Da'absa {A resident of Jericho city} in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area.
4. On the evening of March 8th 2017, Israeli forces detained 3 children: Husam Al-Zaghal, Rami Al-Ajlouni and Malik Al-Qaisi in Al-Thori neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
5. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahed Alqam in Shu'fat camp.
6.Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Hassan Al-Louzi and Ahmad Hassan Mutier in Qalandiya camp.

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem.
2. On the evening of March 8th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Thori neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shuqba village then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Budrus village and detained a resident.

At 15:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:35.

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces raided Zieta town until 12:35.
2. At 11:35, Israeli forces raided Izbit Al-Tayah village,fired tear gas grenades towards the home of Jamal Al-Shafi'i then withdrew at 15:15.
3. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:10.
4.At 04:55, Israeli forces raided Anabta town.

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mahmoud Hussien Abu Hamarah, Muntaha Foad Abdel-Rahim Rabi' and Issa Omar Mustafa Odah in Tulkarem city.

1. At 11:20 and again at 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Qalqilya city and Hablah town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Jit village and detained a resident.
4. At 17:45 and again at 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.

At 20:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:15.

1. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sabastiya village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:20.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

1. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 06:10.
2. At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya village and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces detained Jihad Salah Hamad Nashata and Asef Tiem in Qabalan town.
2. Israeli forces detained Suliman Mohammad Aweis in Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya village.

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Rafat village , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:00.

At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, uprooted and confiscated several trees owned by Mustafa Awajna.

At 11:10, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Mohammad Abu Na'mah {A resident of Al-Ram town in Jerusalem city}.

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicle until 16:20.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
3. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:35.

1. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Husan village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:00.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Harmala village until 21:00.

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Husan village.

At 20:10, a Israeli settler vehicle travelling along Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} ran over Ahmad Khaled Abu Rajab {A resident of Hebron city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on March 8th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kharis town and detained a resident.
2. At 08:25 and again at 21:35, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents and summoned Mohammad Adnan Abed Al-Joulani to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
3. At 11:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town then stormed and searched a home.
4. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Shiyoukh town, detained a PLC member and confiscated her personal computer.
5.At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town and detained 2 children.
6. At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident and confiscated his vehicle.

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint along road (60) which leads to Hebron city detained Mahmoud Kayed Salami Abu Adwan {A resident of Qalqilya city}
2. At dawn on March 9th 2017, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Rami Idris, Mursi Majed Al-Ajlouni and Ali Majed Al-Ajlouni in Jabal Juhar area located in the old city of Hebron.
3. Israeli forces detained Yunis Odah Hamdan Al-Haroub in Khursa town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Sabih and Azmi Mohammad Arafat Abu Irmeleh in Hebron city.
5. Israeli forces detained Samira Abdallah Mahmoud Halayqa {A PLC member} in Al-Shiyoukh town.
6. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mu'tasim Farouq Masalmah {17 years old} and Mahmoud Raed Masalmah {16 years old} in Beit Awa town.
7. Israeli forces detained Khalid Mohammad Sa'id Za'aqiq in Beit Ummar town.

At 20:20, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Rawhi Na'im Mohammad Islamiya and Ma'zouza Na'im Mohammad Islamiya as they were reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 11:20 on March 8th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in East Beit Hanoun town.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 745 residents and exit of 354 residents returning and travelling to the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as the entry of several truckloads of Cement , steel and construction material as well as 18 imported vehicles.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
