WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:30 and again at 19:00, the occupation forces closed the Jaba checkpoint, in front of traffic and reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya (near the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement junction), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

On the morning of 03/23/2023, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Ram, clashed with the citizens, while surrounding and storming 2 houses, and as a result injured a child, while he was in the vicinity of his school, and detained 2 citizens (brothers).

Detention

1. At 21:30, the occupation forces detained Haroun Mahmoud Eid, in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. The two detainees in the town of Al-Ram are: Ahmed Abu Gharbiya and his brother Fadi.

Attack

1. On the morning of 03/23/2023, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning, while they surrounded and stormed 2 houses, and as a result injured a child, while he was present around his school during their raid into the town of Al-Ram.
2. At 20:40, the occupying forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Ram fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning.

Injuries

A unidentified child was injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Al-Ram.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
2. At 21:30, the occupation police stormed the old Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque, to evacuate the worshipers from inside it.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:15, the occupatin forces set up two checkpoints at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh and on the Wadi al-Dalb road near the village of Deir Bazi', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 10:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Beit Sira, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 12:50.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Beit Sira is: Muhammad Yusef Abu Safiya.

TULKAREM

Detention

On the morning of 03/23/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Wael Suleiman Saleh, during their raid into the village of Izbat Shufa (as mentioned in the previous report).

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of Deir Sharaf village, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Murabaa area, near the entrance to the village of Tal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At dawn on 03/23/2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Madama, stormed and searched 2 houses, and caused material damage to a private vehicle, as it collided with one of its military vehicles.
2. At 13:35, the occupation forces raided the village of Iraq Burin, and clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Attack

At 13:35, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the village of Iraq Burin.

Destruction of Property

At dawn on 03/23/2023, the occupation forces caused material damage to a private vehicle owned by the citizen: Youssef Al-Qat, as a result of it colliding with one of its military vehicles during their raid into the village of Madama.

SALFIT

Raid

At 09:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, and confiscated a waste collection vehicle belonging to the Joint Services Council.

At 09:50, the occupation forces confiscated a waste collection vehicle belonging to the Joint Services Council, during their raid into the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.

JERICHO

Raid

At 00:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Auja (under the pretext that a settler bus had been stoned), and patrolled.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 20:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, where clashes took place with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 22:40.
2. At 22:45, the occupying forces raided the village of Umm Salamuna, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 01:25, the occupation forces raided the village of Husan, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Attack

1. At 20:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the town of Al-Khader.
2. At 01:25, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they were on patrol during the raid into the village of Husan.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 15:45.
2. At 21:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Khara Abu Sneina area in the Old City of Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 23:10.
3. At 23:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Nabi Yunis area (on the main road, Hebron - Bethlehem), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 00:55.

Raid

1. On 03/23/2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Burj, and delivered notices to demolish 7 graves (under construction) belonging to my families: Al-Talahama and Al-Faqih, under the pretext of being built in the area classified (C) under Israeli control, knowing that the cemetery is built on lands belonging to For the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments, and citizens have been using it for several years to bury their dead.
2. At 20:30, the occupying forces raided Hebron, and patrolled until 21:00.
3. At 02:10, the occupation forces raided the Wadi Al-Saman area, south of Hebron, and stormed and searched 3 homes.

Attack

1. At 19:30, the occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:15, the occupying forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 22:50, the occupation forces closed the iron gate established at the roundabout of the village of Beit Einoun, to traffic.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of 03/23/2023, a group of settlers in the Al-Waidin community area, east of the town of Yatta, grazed their livestock on the citizens' lands planted with agricultural crops, which led to their destruction. The occupation forces also intervened and detained 3 citizens of the crop owners while they were trying to confront the settlers, and fired They were later released: Fayez Al-Ka’abneh, Ziad Al-Basita, and Hassan Al-Basita.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 03/23/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At noon on 03/23/2023, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands, east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, located in the northeast of Gaza City.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 03/23/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 03/23/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
