DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 20th May 2023-08:00, 21st May 2023
1. On 05/20/2023, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Sondos Alaa Al-Masry - a resident of the Old City of Jerusalem.
2. On 05/20/2023, the occupation forces arrested Abdel Nasser Al-Ledawiyah, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem, after raiding and searching his family's home.
1. At 17:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which resulted in the injury of a citizen.
2. At 23:00, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
The wounded man during clashes with the occupation forces in the Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem is: Obeida Taha.
1. On 05/20/2023, a group of settlers, under the protection of the occupation, on Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, assaulted a number of citizens, by spraying them with pepper gas, and smashing the facades of a number of shops.
2. On 05/20/2023, a group of settlers, under the protection of the occupation, in the Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem, assaulted a number of citizens, smashed the windows of a number of vehicles, and fired indiscriminately towards the citizens' homes.

On the evening of 05/20/2023, a group of settlers entered the plain area located between the town of Turmusaya and the village of Al-Mughayyir, and attacked citizens with stones in the area.
1. At 16:45, the occupying forces raided the village of Ta'anak, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 19:10, the occupation forces raided the village of Zabuba, arrested 2 citizens, and withdrew at 20:15.
The two detainees in the village of Zabuba are: Bilal Zaki Ahmed Jaradat and Qusay Muhammad Abdullah Jaradat.
At 00:50, the occupying forces raided the Irtah suburb of Tulkarm, and patrolled until 05:10.
At 13:25, the occupying forces, stationed at the gate of the apartheid wall near the town of Qaffin, fired at a child, wounding him, and he was subsequently transferred to the hospital for treatment.

The detainee at a sudden checkpoint in the Al-Murabaa area near the entrance to the village of Tal is: Al-Askari - Jihad Rami Salih Siyam (from the National Security Forces) - residents of the city of Ramallah.

On 05/20/2023, the bulldozers of the occupation, east of the village of Deir al-Hatab, bulldozed areas of land in the Ras al-Ain area located in Basin No. (9) of the village of Deir al-Hatab, in favor of expanding the "Alon Moreh" settlement established on the lands of the village.
1. At 08:45, the occupying forces raided the town of Bidya, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 22:40, the occupying forces raided the village of Marda, and patrolled until 01:20.
1. At 10:30 on 05/20/2023, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho. The checkpoint was set up again at 07:10 on 05/21/2023 to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:10 on 05/20/2023, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 21:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 22:00.
1. At 11:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Zarzour junction in Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:55, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ithna, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 16:00.

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
* The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Rafah governorate, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the governorates of northern Gaza, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.

On the morning of 05/20/2023, the Israeli gunboats opened fire towards the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of the Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 02:00 on 05/20/2023, Israeli gunboats fired at fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
Sufa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 05/20/2023 is closed.
* AlAwda - Rafah: on 05/20/2023 is closed.
1. At 08:00 on 05/17/2023, the occupying forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Al-Shouka, east of Rafah.
2. On the morning of 05/20/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the coast of Rafah.
