Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh discusses latest developments with Blair following UN Security Council resolution
Ramallah – 23/11/2025 - In his office in Ramallah, the Vice President of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mr. Hussein Al Sheikh, discussed with Mr. Tony Blair and a representative of the US government the latest developments related to the day after phase following the issuance of the UN Security Council resolution, in addition to addressing the issues linked to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the fundamental requirements for achieving the right to self-determination and the statehood.
Al Sheikh commended the efforts of President Trump and all the mediators and partners—Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, the United States, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, and the partners from the European Union and its member states— in consolidating the ceasefire, facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and moving toward the making of peace, security, and stability.
The meeting was attended by H.E. the Head of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Majed Faraj; the President's Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Dr. Majdi AlKhalidi; and the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Nabil Abu Rudainah.
