Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh Calls upon the World to Intervene to Protect Our People from Racism and Ethnic Cleansing

Ramallah—September 22, 2026—His Excellency Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, said in a statement on Tuesday that the occupation government is transforming Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps into mass detention camps for Palestinians through the use of iron gates and checkpoints, as well as the uprooting of olive trees from hundreds of dunams of land.

Al Sheikh called upon the world to intervene to protect our people from racism and ethnic cleansing, and also demand the United Nations, during its on going meetings, to announce a series of measures and resolutions that protect our Palestinian people and compel the occupation to halt all its actions.

The Sheikh noted that statements will not pit a stop to the occupation's crimes; what is required is support for Palestinian people's steadfastness on their homeland, alongside the adoption of strict measures to deter the occupation's aggression, racism, and crimes.
