Al Sheikh: We Highly Value the Authentic Decision to Send Egyptian Forces to Support Saudi Arabia ‏

Ramallah—October 18, 2026—His Excellency Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, said in a statement on Sunday: “We highly value the authentic decision of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to send Egyptian forces to support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in defending its territories.”

In his statement, Al Sheikh noted that this decision constitutes a practical embodiment of Arab national security and fraternal partnership in the joint defense of the nation’s interests at a stage where the region is facing major challenges.
