WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
2. At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ismail Al-Muhtasib in Al-Eizariya town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers headed by Ori Arail {Israeli Minister of Agriculture} and under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 22nd 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village and detained a resident.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces detained Rami Mohammad Yahya Al-Tamimi {a resident of Deir Intham village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Dar Nassir in Kafr Ni'ma village.
3. Israeli forces detained Sameh Foad Ayash Al-Dodat in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road in east Jenin city and detained a resident.

Raid

At dawn on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint along the bypass road in east Jenin city detained Aysar Husam Arqawi.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Harith Ali Abu Maala, Moataz Abu Maala and Ala Kamil in Qabatiya town.

Attack

At dawn on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Qabatiya town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:55,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:20.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road between Azzun town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village until 15:40.
2. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, stormed and searched several homes and summoned Bassam Abu Sharab to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 02:15.
3. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 03:00.

Attack

At 23:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Yatma village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Murabat area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces raided Rujieb village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 11:45.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Madma village until 20:35.
3. On April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Imad Abu Mustafa and Ashraf Abdel-Al Al-Qatawi {both are residents of Balata camp in Nablus city} in Rujieb village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Iskaka village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Qayis village.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town.
3. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Wael Mahmoud Bakir Shkeir and Hamza Yacoub Ahmad Radad in Al-Zawiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

Raid

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Uday Fayiq Al-Tahan in Jericho city.

Attack

At 01:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.
2. At 10:45 and again at 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:20.
3. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Shuwarat village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalla city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:40.

Raid

1. At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained a resident then withdrew at 07:00.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:25.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained a child.

Detention

1. At 08:15, Israeli forces detained Musa Ali Hamamra {a resident of Husan village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Omar Hassann Naji Salah in Al-Khader town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Loai Ahmad Abu Mifrih and Majdi Naji Abu Mifrih in Teqou' town.
4. Israeli forces detained Qusay Khalid Ahmad Abu Salem in Al-Doha town.
5. Israeli forces detained Mujahid Yusef Mohammad Taqatqa {16 years old} in Beit Fajjar town.
6. At 19:05, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ziyad Abdel-Hamid Al-Azza {a resident of Al-Doha town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
7. At 21:25, Israeli forces positioned at the Container military checkpoint detained Yusef Ismail Tayriyat {a resident of Bani Na'im town in Hebron district}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Tabaqa village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 00:50.

Raid

1. On the afternoon of April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Othniel's tomb" then closed down Bi'r Saba' road and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to allow several settlers to perform Talmudic ritual's at the tomb site.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Tabaqa village and detained a resident.
3. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Deir Sammit village and detained 2 residents.
4. At dawn on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and detained a resident.
5. At dawn on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Hamza Yusef Shihada Hamdan in Al-Tabaqa village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hassan Yisiri Abdel-Jawad Al-Haroub and Khader Mohammad Thiyab Salah Al-Haroub in Deir Sammit village.
3. Israeli forces detained Hassan Ziyad Awad in Ithna town.

Attack

At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish military checkpoint located in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On the afternoon of April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces closed down Bi'r Saba' road and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to allow several settlers to perform Talmudic ritual's at "Othniel's tomb" tomb site in Hebron city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers in the mosque in order allow several settlers to perform Talmudic ritual's for the Jewish holiday "Passover".

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Khan Yunis district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Rafah district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of urgent humanitarian cases. The Jerusalem ID card holders, the West Bank governorates and international organizations are in both directions from 07:30 to 13:00. Those holding Gaza strip Identification cards to return to the Gaza Strip only from 07:30 to 19:00, and for the cars from 07:30 to 13:00.

Attack

At 09:00 on April 22nd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 13:00 on April 22nd 2019,Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Khan Yunis city and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:30.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

1. At 09:15 on April 22nd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
2. At 10:00 on April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in north east Rafah city.
