DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 14:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Jaba checkpoint, which connects the governorates of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho, and obstructed traffic.

Raid

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis, where clashes took place with citizens in the vicinity of Al-Quds University, while it was on patrol.
2. At 14:25,Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and conducted a patrol.

Detention

At dawn on 09. 09. 2020, Israeli forces detained Yazan Siyam in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 09:45, the occupying forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens in the vicinity of Al-Quds University, during their raid into Abu Dis town, under the pretext that it had been thrown with stones while on patrol.

House Demolition

On 08/09/2020, the occupation authorities in the Old City of Jerusalem forced the citizen: Hamed Hammad to personally demolish the fourth floor of his house, which is located near Bab al-Ghawanimah (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) and overlooks the Dome of the Rock mosque in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, after I informed him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carry out the demolition process, under the pretext of not being licensed.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Kfir village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:05, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Anabta, where clashes took place with the citizens while on patrol, and withdrew at 04:30.

Attack

1. At 23:00, the occupying forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, while storming the town of Anabta, under the pretext that it had been throwing stones while on patrol.
2. At 04:30, the occupying forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the village of Faroun fired fire and stun grenades towards a number of workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Jinsafut village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 16:40, Israeli forces raided the town of Azzun, stormed a number of shops, and confiscated the surveillance camera recording device of a store owned by Taher Talal Salim, and withdrew at 18:45.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint on Al-Badan Road (the eastern entrance to Nablus), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:10, a group of settlers came near the entrance to the village of Burqa, and threw stones at a number of citizens, wounding 3 civilians - wounded and bruised, and withdrew at 20:30.

Injuries

The 3 wounded, as a result of a settler attack near the entrance to the village of Burqa, are: Yazan Khairallah Far'oun Hamada Al-Barqawi, and Wadih Zaidan Daghlas.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided raided the town of Al-Zawiya, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 05:00.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafeel Haris, and conducted a patrol.

Detention

Detained in the town of Zawiya is: Jihad Riad Qadous.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho. The checkpoint was established agian at 20:55 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 01:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint east of the town of Tekoa, and handed over 3 citizens - notifications to be reviewed by the Israeli intelligence: Faysal Khalaf Salman Rashaida, Abbas Atallah Muhammad Rashaida, and Nasser Ahmad Salman Rashaida.
2. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate). The checkpoint was established repeatedly at 19:35 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 21:10.
3. At 14:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Jala, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 17:05.

4. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 17:05.
5. At 15:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Fajar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 17:10.
6. At 18:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 19:40.
7. At 19:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and the Aida and Deheisheh camps in the city, stormed and searched a number of houses, and withdrew at 04:45.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Halhoul town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Samou, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Einoun village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Nabi Yunis area junction (on the main road to Hebron - Bethlehem), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At dawn on 09/08/2020,Israeli forces raided the town of Idhna and detained a citizen.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces raided the Arab al-Freijat area in the town of Ramadin, and delivered notices to demolish 3 homes owned by citizens: Samir Hussein Fraihat, Sami Abu Al-Hassan, and Shukri Ibrahim Mlehat, under the pretext of not being licensed.
3. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Majd village, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Kahil, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided the town of Bani Naim, and stormed the house of the martyr, Muhammad Tarayrah, and took his engineering measurements, in preparation for its demolition.

Detention

The detainee in Idhna is: Moaz Muhammad Abu Juhaisha.

Attack

At 21:50,Israeli forces positioned in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired live bullets, metal-coated rubber, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the entrance to the camp, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by raiding our areas, and by the gunboats shooting at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the Gaza governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 08/09/2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed on 01/04/2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

Raid

At 07:30 on 08/09/2020, several vehicles and bulldozers from the occupation army and a cover of reconnaissance aircraft stormed our areas at a depth of about 50 meters east of Gaza City, and carried out digging and bulldozing works.

Attack

At 08:00 on 08/09/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the beach of Gaza City.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": 08/09/2020, partially open, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda crossing - Rafah: on 08/09/2020 is closed.
