Its location strengthens the settlement in the heart of Samaria[7]. X Platform, 5 November: “I'm pleased to announce that the Negev Development Bill, extending the planning regularization period for the veteran lone farms in the Negev by an additional seven years, has been approved for first reading in the Economics Committee. The Planning Administration has committed to completing the exemption process for the veteran farms that received the Minister's approval from the side-by-side contiguity requirement under the National Outline Plan (TAMA 35) by the end of 2026. In 3 months, an update on the progress will be provided, and in 5 months, an additional follow-up discussion will take place. In parallel to the amendment of (TAMA 35), it will be possible to advance the detailed plans for the farms in the northern Negev. Regarding the Desert Edge Farm, a follow-up discussion will take place in 6 weeks. RMI has updated that the valuations will undergo review by the Government Appraiser, and a relief in the payment spread to 40% before submitting the objection (instead of 75%) will be considered. In addition, the regularization of lawfully established tourism ventures is being examined ahead of the second and third readings.”[18]
