I. Against the Palestinian People and their National and Human Rights: Promoting Illegal Colonial Settlements and Endorsing Genocide / Forcible Transfer

Itamar Ben Gvir, National Security Minister, Chairman, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 3 December:Main Draft of the Death Penalty Bill for Terrorists by Otzma Yehudit is being moved toward the second and third Readings after prolonged discussions in the Cabinet and the National Security Committee. Ahead of a follow-up discussion to be held next week, here is the updated version of the Death Penalty for Terrorists Bill submitted by the Otzma Yehudit faction through MK Limor Sonhrmelh:

  • Purpose of the Law: Establishing the death penalty for terrorists who have murdered, as part of the fight against terrorism.
  • Protecting the State of Israel and its citizens.
  • Strengthening deterrence
  • Undermining the incentive for kidnappings and extortion through deals to release terrorists.
  • For the first time, a special provision for the perpetrators of the October 7 massacre.
  • Mandatory sentence: Terrorists who caused the death of Israeli citizens or residents in the October 7 massacre, their penalty shall be death as a mandatory sentence.
  • Classifying the acts as genocide under the Genocide Law: The court shall not be bound by the prosecution's position.
  • Execution of the sentence within 90 days of the final judgment, by the Israel Prison Service.
  • Mandatory Death Penalty for Terrorists Residing in the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria: Authorizing military courts to impose the death penalty regardless of the prosecution's position.
  • Abolishing the requirement for a unanimous decision: a regular majority of the panel judges suffices (…).”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 7 December: “Don't say you didn't know! Because the defense minister is not making decisions and is busy from morning to evening arguing with the Chief of Staff, a petition was submitted to the High Court of Justice requesting the transfer of thousands of Gaza patients wounded and their escorts to areas of Judea and Samaria. Understand what that means—quiet migration from the Gaza Strip to Judea and Samaria, a direct connection between Gaza and the West Bank. Once again, the State of Israel is repeating the past mistakes and taking responsibility for Gaza instead of saying unequivocally—go to Egypt and get treatment there. In the end, the High Court of Justice, which lacks any choice because the state is not making any decision, and others will shout that the judges are interfering in policy. There is no policy; it is a failure of action, a copy-paste of what was before October 7.

Avigdor Liberman, MK, Head of Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform, 7 December: “Reconstruction of Gaza? Only in exchange for the return of Israel's hero, Cpl. Ran Guili, and the purification of Gaza and the complete and total dismantling of Hamas. That is the minimum. No other option can be on the table.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 7 December: “I arrived for a strengthening visit to Givat Mevasseret Shalom in Samaria[1], where pioneering families and young men of the land reside. The destruction on the hill from last week and in other places must stop[2]. We will be everywhere and demand more settlements throughout the entire areas of Judea and Samaria[3].”

Itamar Ben Gvir, National Security Minister, Chairman of Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 8 December: “Members of my Otzma Yehudit Knesset faction and I attended the National Security Committee discussions on advancing the death penalty for terrorists[4]. Wearing a pin in the shape of a hangman's noose is a symbol of our commitment to passing the law and a clear message that terrorists are sons of death. The time has come for the death penalty for terrorists!”

The Knesset TV Channel:

X Platform, 8 December: During a meeting of the National Security Committee to discuss the death penalty to Palestinians, Ben Gvir yelled at Prof. Hagai Levine, Chairman of the Association of Public Health Physicians, who sparked a storm in the committee after stating that the death penalty harms public health, “You are not the public health of the terrorists. I would revoke your professor's certificate right now, shame on you," said Ben Gvir.[5]

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 8 December: “It's straightforward. If we do not enact a death penalty law for terrorists, we are sentencing Israeli citizens to death.”

Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister, Chairman of Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 8 December: “Judea and Samaria are Israel's security belt. I am proud to lead a revolution that abolishes the idea of dividing the land, establishing a terrorist state, and fortifying Israel's security.”

Tzvika Foghel, MK, Jewish Power

X Platform, 8 December: “This morning, members of the Jewish Power faction and I attended the discussion in the National Security Committee about the death penalty for terrorists, with a pin in the shape of a hangman's noose on the lapel of our shirts. The pin is a symbol of our commitment to passing the law and a clear message: terrorists are sons of death.”

Haim Omri, CH 14[6] Correspondent

X Platform, 10 December: “Reporting from the cemetery of Nesher[7], the burial site of Izzeddine Al-Qassam, whose name was borne by the uniforms and hearts of Hamas murderers on 7 October 2023, when they committed those atrocities against our people. The burial complex serves as a critical energy source that fuels the violent struggle against Israel. After years in which the Waqf[8] operated under the Supreme Monitoring Committee of Israel's Arabs and tried to establish facts on the ground, the security forces launched this morning an enforcement operation to demonstrate the proper governance of this site[9].”

Yitzik Kroizer, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 10 December: “We destroyed the Waqf tent - and soon we will remove the grave of the arch-terrorist Izzeddine Al-Qassam.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 10 December:The farms and hills are the real solution to violence and terror in Judea and Samaria. You are invited to watch my remarks from the discussion on "Settler Violence" in the State Comptroller's Committee.”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform, 13 December: “Let's get this straight. Itamar Ben Gvir's Death Penalty Law will not apply to the Nukhba captives. My law and that of MK Simcha Rotman will put all the terrorists of October 7 on trial and pass the death penalty on them.”

Gideon Sa’ar, Foreign Minister, Chair, New Hope Party

X Platform, 17 December: “Congratulations to the Berlin District Court, which has once again ruled that the slogan From the river to the sea Palestine will be free - the symbol of Hamas - is a criminal offense. The verdict is clear: "Anyone who uses this sequence of words supports Hamas and its main goal - the destruction of Israel. Other countries should act like Germany.”

Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister, Chairman, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 18 December: “If the PA does not remove the waste itself, it will pay for it through deductions from its funds! Together with my friend, Minister of Defense Israel Katz, we held an emergency discussion today on the threat of the Arabs' waste fires in Judea and Samaria (…) This is a widespread and much more serious phenomenon than has been described so far, constituting a severe and ongoing harm to the quality of the environment, the quality of life and the health of the residents of the area. At the end of the discussion, we decided to define the phenomenon as harm to national security. We declared the preparation of a national emergency plan for an immediate and long-term response to the threat, to be implemented in an inter-organizational format led by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, local authorities, and the enforcement and security forces. Among the steps decided upon:

  1. Defining the phenomenon as harm to national security.
  2. Advancing administrative tools, through military orders, for the forfeiture and permanent confiscation of, among others, Palestinian waste trucks.
  3. Allocating unlimited budgets to recruit contractors and heavy equipment from the private sector (by the Ministry of Defense) to extinguish fires and remove waste while deducting the cost from the Palestinian Authority's funds.
  4. Aggressive inter-organizational enforcement activity.
  5. Establish a waste disposal site in the center of Judea and Samaria that will respond to fires in the area. Environmental terrorism proves that the Green Line is virtual, and when Judea and Samaria are the backyard of the State of Israel, the entire people of Israel are harmed. We are erasing the Green Line and taking responsibility. We will eradicate this phenomenon through enforcement, waste removal, harsh and painful fines, and, of course, by creating alternatives for waste removal while imposing the cost on the PA. The process we are initiating, with God's help, will bring great tidings and the eradication of the phenomenon as soon as possible.”

Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister, Chairman, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 18 December: “Yehuda Guard [10]is expected to become a new, planned, large, and beautiful city, which will serve as a strategic anchor for protecting Jerusalem from the east. This is a historic announcement on several levels: first and foremost, the establishment of a large city with tens of thousands of housing units; alongside this, a dramatic strengthening of the Jerusalem envelope area from the east; and, no less critical, providing a significant solution to the housing distress of tens of thousands of young couples, within touching distance of Jerusalem. This is another step in promoting de facto sovereignty in the area and in stopping the idea of establishing an Arab state in Judea and Samaria. I thank the Commander of Central Command, Major General Avi Bluth, the staff of the Civil Administration, and the Settlement Administration for leading the initiative with determination and professionalism. I cannot help but mention my friend and colleague, the Land of Israel fighter and attorney, Doron Nir Tzvi of blessed memory, who was among the first to push for the establishment of the city and even left me to advance it as a kind of last will in our final meeting before his passing. May his memory be blessed.”

Moshe Saada, MK, Likud

X Platform, 22 December: “15 students from the Hamas-linked Al-Quds University are conducting clinical rotations at Soroka Hospital. And all this at the expense of our children who are serving in the army. We cannot continue this, and I will not let up until we change this absurd reality.”[11]

Knesset TV Channel

X Platform, 23 December: Speaking at the meeting of the Knesset National Security Committee, and broadcast on the Knesset TV Channel, Minister Itamar Ben Gvir commented on the Death Penalty Law and said, “The Shin Bet[12] thinks that this punishment will add deterrence. Over 100 doctors contacted us saying: 'We volunteer to be part of the death penalty.'"

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 23 December: “Givat Beit Anot is a vanguard [settlement] site ahead of the camp. Recently, I visited there and saw with my own eyes how it serves as a barrier against the expansion toward the village of Halhul[13] and guards the bypass route, and how it constitutes a significant point within the new continuum being built between the Gush Etzion bloc and Hebron. The destruction at the site last night is reprehensible and grave. The time has come for them to understand: settlement is the solution, not the problem. Whoever allows themselves to destroy must know that this will not pass in silence. The time has come to stop chasing after the settlers and start fighting the real enemy who steals our land from us every day. Embracing the families and the heroes at Beit Anot. We are with you, until victory and the building of the entire Land!”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 23 December: “I bless the Minister of Defense for the clear and correct statement: the time has come for actions. Establishing settlement cores in the northern Gaza Strip is not only a necessary security step that will prevent the return of terrorism, but also the realization of our moral and historical right to the entire Gaza Strip. We are indeed in an era of 'practical sovereignty'. In the face of the historic opportunities that have opened before us, we must not settle for declarations – we must take to the ground and turn the settlement cores into thriving and permanent communities. Only a Jewish civilian presence, backed by military might, will ensure true sovereignty and long-term security for the residents of the south and for the State of Israel as a whole. The Lobby for Renewing Settlement in the Gaza Strip will continue to push and ensure that this vision becomes a reality on the ground soon. And a final and very dear word to the "Nachala" movement, which for two years has been pushing and leading the return to Gaza as part of our ancestors’ heritage, be strong and courageous, and with God's help we will see the fruits of the struggle soon.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 23 December: “Fulfilling the promise: This morning, we began in the National Security Committee the preparation of the final wording of the Death Penalty for Terrorists Law for second and third reading. In the face of brutal terror, powerful deterrence is required. This is the order of the hour, and our moral duty is to save lives and exact a heavy price from those who come to murder Jews.”

Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister, Chairman, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 23 December: “Erasing the disgrace of the expulsion from northern Samaria![14] We are righting a historic injustice and realizing a Zionist vision in practice. Sha'nur is returning home not with slogans but with plans, budgets, roads, and actions on the ground. Together with the approval of the settlements of Ganey and Kdamim and the long-ago return home of Chomesh, this involves erasing the expulsion from northern Samaria, moving from declarations to implementation through professional, determined, and coordinated work at all levels. I thank the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, for the deep cooperation, and the head of the council, Yossi Dagan, for the years-long leadership of the demand to return to northern Samaria and the professional collaboration in preparing the plan. This is a national move to strengthen the settlement, deepen our hold on the land, and turn de facto sovereignty into a clear and irreversible reality.”

CH 7 Television News[15]

X Platform, 23 December: “First Publication: Under the Direction of Minister Smotrich, the planning council will discuss doubling the Yitzhar settlement[16]. The Council will discuss approving the deposit of a plan for building 398 new housing units in Yitzhar.”

Avigdor Liberman, MK, Head of Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform, 24 December:

“The facts:

  1. Khan al-Ahmar is an illegal outpost.
  2. The High Court of Justice has repeatedly ordered the demolition of the order against it.
  3. When I was Minister of Defense, I demanded its evacuation. A few hours before the evacuation, Netanyahu sent me a written order not to do so.

Khan al-Ahmar is a symbol of the Palestinian Authority's takeover of state lands. It is also a symbol of capitulation to terror. In practice, Netanyahu is the protector of the Palestinians.”

Nachala Settlement Movement

X Platform, 28 December: “Today, a meeting of the Knesset Lobby for Renewing Jewish Settlement in Gaza was held in the Knesset, under the theme of launching Nahal settlement nuclei in the Gaza Strip, following the statements of the Minister of Defense on establishing Nahal nuclei in Gaza.

Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister, Chairman, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 28 December: “Major General Avi Bluth’s signing on the eight new jurisdictional areas is another significant step in the revolution we are carrying out in Judea and Samaria. Nothing is more exciting than seeing the settlements gradually being regulated, and the return to the Homesh[17] settlement, a symbol of heroism and the Jewish spirit. We are advancing de facto sovereignty in the area to prevent any possibility of establishing an Arab state in Judea and Samaria. I thank the Command's Major General, the Civil Administration, and the Settlement Administration for leading these critical moves.”

Tzvi Succot, MK, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 28 December: “In the Knesset, the launch of Nahal settlement cores in the Gaza Strip is currently taking place. Warriors, war-wounded individuals, and bereaved families are now leading in the Knesset the session of the lobby for renewing Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, initiated by MK Limor Sonhrmelh and MK Tzvi Succot and led by the Nachala movement. At the conference, clear voices are heard calling for the renewal of settlement in Gaza and for strengthening the Prime Minister's political stance against international pressures.

Tzvi Succot, MK, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 28 December: “Without you noticing, last week the Civil Administration uprooted 6,300 mature olive trees of an illegal takeover near Sha'ar HaPark[18]. Another giant step in the war against the illegal takeover of lands in Judea and Samaria. And thanks to Minister Smotrich for a tremendous revolution!”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 29 December: “Returning Home. Establishing the Settlements of the Gaza Strip! Yesterday, the Knesset Lobby for the Return of Settlement to the Gaza Strip, led by Knesset member Zvi Succot and by me, convened for a special and moving meeting on the topic: "Establishing Nahal Nuclei for the Gaza Strip." During the conference, I shared a special moment that happened about a month ago. When I went to the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, and asked him to allow us to hold a flag-raising ceremony in the Nissanit settlement in the northern part of the Strip. His response was decisive: "Liora, I will establish a Nahal nucleus in the Gaza Strip much faster than you think." I congratulate the Minister of Defense on the important and bold statement that was made last week in a public manner. This is the right direction; this is the security and moral perception required at this time. Now, all eyes are on the Prime Minister – I expect you to officially adopt this plan. Establishing a Nahal nucleus is the first and most logical step on the way to solidifying our hold on the ground, because only settlement will bring security. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the partners on the path: the Nachala movement for their endless dedication, the settlement nuclei that are already waiting to go up to the land, the heroic bereaved families, and the families of the fighters who draw strength from this vision, the rabbis, public figures, and everyone who came and participated in this important conference. We will not stop. The historic correction is already here. The people of Israel have returned to the Gaza Strip!”

Tzvi Succot, MK, Religious Zionism Party

X Platform, 31 December: “(...) On the far left, they're so horrified by the idea that serious archaeological excavations will be conducted in Judea and Samaria that will further confirm our connection to the land that they actually held a demonstration this morning against the discussion I'm holding on the topic. We continue with all our might (…).”

II. Against the Palestinian Citizens of Israel

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 9 December: “So, Aida Toma Suleiman[19], the one who mourned the terrorists of the Lion's Den and after the elimination of five of them said, ‘Our Palestinian people is inseparable from its shahids[20],’ has come to complain about ‘settler violence.’ We will do everything so that these terror supporters do not sit in the Knesset.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 10 December: “Today in the Knesset plenum, I asked Minister Barkat[21] about the preference given to Arabs who did not serve in the military within the framework of encouraging employers in the high-tech industry. I congratulated Minister Nir Barkat on his decision to stop this discrimination and prioritize reservists from all sectors, Jews, Druze, Muslims, and Circassians. Those who have given two years of their life on the battlefield must know that the state puts them at the top of its priority list in civilian life.”

Almog Cohen, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 21 December: “Mansour Abbas is one of the most dangerous, with honeyed lips and a forced smile, he seeks to establish a Palestinian state, together with Bennett and Yair Golan.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, National Security Minister, Chairman, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 25 December: “Thousands of demolitions of illegal construction that we carried out just in the last year have demonstrated to everyone the era of governance. We are returning the Negev to the State of Israel![22]

Itamar Ben Gvir, National Security Minister, Chairman, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 28 December: “On a governance tour in the Negev. There will be law and order in the Negev - we are the landlords here![23]

Itamar Ben Gvir, National Security Minister, Chairman, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 29 December:Hey Yair, regards on behalf of your Government of Change." You, who sold the country and the Negev to the Muslim Brotherhood, dare to speak? The struggle I am leading in the Negev for governance has not been done in 50 years. It will be attested to by the 5,000 demolitions of illegal homes this year, a 19% decrease in car thefts, an 80-fold increase in noise complaints against mosques, and thousands of traffic tickets to Bedouins who are rampaging on the roads. You, who fantasize about a government with Ra'am[24], are the last to speak about governance against the Bedouins.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 31 December: “My warrior friend, Minister Mai Golan, tremendous appreciation for your part in exposing the distorted mechanism of Decision 550 and the Bennett-Abbas government. The investigation proved it in black and white on the screen: how a pro-terrorism party was cultivated here, and how, in the name of political survival, billions were funneled without oversight—funds that leaked to criminal organizations, bolstered terrorism, and undermined the state's security. This is an unprecedented economic and moral corruption and recklessness that came at the price of blood. Mai, it is good that you shut off the tap, and it is good that you are leading the hardline stance together with Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir to bring the Shin Bet into handling crime. We must not settle for just airing the investigation; law enforcement authorities must dive into the thick of it and probe this failure to the very end. The public demands answers.”

III. Against the United Nations/ International Organizations

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 8 December: “These are the facts- UNRWA is a terrorist organization that kidnapped innocent civilians and took part in the October 7 massacre. Nothing was occupied, because, according to the law, this is a territory that belongs to the State of Israel.

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 11 December: “When I started the legislative process against UNRWA, I wanted to define them as a terrorist organization because that's what they are. But then the government went into a frenzy, claiming that such a move could not be made because it is a UN organization. Now, the US administration is discussing defining UNRWA as a foreign terrorist organization. This shows how cowardly our government is. Next week, a discussion will be held on another bill that I am promoting against UNRWA, and I intend to announce that I want to add a clause to it that will define UNRWA as a terrorist organization.”

Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN

X Platform 12 December: “Currently, a vote is taking place in the UN General Assembly on a resolution whose purpose is to demand that Israel cooperate with UNRWA. We are done with UNRWA! If you want Israel's cooperation, I suggest you look for other organizations, not ones that support terrorism and protect terrorists.”

Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN

X Platform 12 December: “UNRWA equals hotbeds for terror. The UN General Assembly passed a resolution today demanding that Israel cooperate with terror. This will not happen. We will not forget the crimes committed by UNRWA employees on October 7. We will not forget that UNRWA employees kidnapped the late Yonatan Samerano to Gaza. UNRWA should hand over the keys and go home.”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 16 December: “My bill to disconnect water and electricity from UNRWA compounds, to expel them from the Daphna Heights compound, and to cancel the immunity from lawsuits that it received as a UN organization passed in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. UNRWA is a terrorist organization. It has no right to exist. It is absurd that the State of Israel allows terrorists to use its infrastructure and resources, and this law comes to correct this disgrace. Moreover, the days when UNRWA was legally immune are over, and it will be possible to sue them for the crimes they committed and are still committing. The bill will come up for first, second, and third readings in the Knesset plenum, and we will finally end the activity of this terrorist organization in the State of Israel.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 17 December: “End to the absurdity. The bill I initiated to deprive UNRWA of infrastructure and assets has been approved for readings 2-3. We are cutting off electricity, water, and the flow of funds, and returning the lands in Jerusalem to our hands. A body that provides shelter to terror will not receive services from the Jewish state. Period!”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 28 December: “According to Arab reports, UNRWA has informed its employees that this is their last month in Gaza and that all their assets there will be evacuated. After I passed the law to sever ties with them and halt their operations in Israel more than a year ago, tomorrow I will pass the UNRWA Law 2 in the Knesset, which will strip them of their immunity and boot them out of here for good. We will strangle the terrorist organization UNRWA and lock it away from the world.”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 29 December: “I promised, and I delivered. UNRWA Law 2 has entered the book of laws! A year ago, I passed the historic law to halt the operations of the terrorist organization UNRWA. Although the law was implemented, government ministries and the legal advisor interpreted specific provisions leniently and chose not to enforce them. I did not give up. I was forced to submit the second UNRWA law to close the loopholes. From now on, there is no room for interpretation:

  • Cutting off the pipelines: Complete disconnection of water and electricity to all UNRWA compounds.
  • Evacuating the headquarters: Full evacuation of the headquarters in Ramat Daphne and Kafr Aqab. Israel is restoring what’s hers and imposing sovereignty over it.
  • Canceling immunity: UNRWA is no longer immune. From today, it is possible to sue them for their crimes like any other entity.

As I promised already two years ago, I will pursue this terrorist organization and will not stop until no trace of it remains in the State of Israel. The law has now passed in second and third readings in the plenum. I very much hope that this is the last time, and that no factor will force me to close a trilogy.”

Limor Sonhrmelh, MK, Jewish Power Party

X Platform, 29 December: “Thank you, Lord, we have made history! The Knesset plenum has now approved, in second and third readings, my bill to cease UNRWA's operations in the State of Israel. This is a practical step for sovereignty and security that puts an end to the presence of a terrorist organization that was a full partner in the massacre, the kidnapping, and the murder on October 7. Effective today, the rules change: we are revoking the diplomatic immunity of UNRWA, its officials, and its assets, and canceling all approvals, licenses, and benefits granted to them by the state. I thank Kobi and Ayelet Samerano, the parents of Jonathan Samerano (RIP), who are leading the fight against UNRWA.”

Yulia Malinovsky, MK, Yisrael Beiteinu Party

X Platform 30 December: “The Knesset Constitution Committee Approves Bill for Prosecuting October 7 Terrorists for First Reading* The bill I co-sponsored with MK Rothman was just approved by the committee, and will soon come to a vote in the Knesset plenum for first reading. It will regulate the prosecution of those who carried out acts of hostility, murder, rape, abduction, and looting perpetrated by the Hamas terror organization and its partners in the October 7 massacre and thereafter. The court will be able to apply articles on genocide, violation of sovereignty, and waging war, which carry a penalty of death. One more step on the path to justice and bringing the cursed October 7 terrorists to trial, and one more step for them on the path to the gallows.”

IV. Other Statements

Yitzik Bunzel[25]

X Platform, 11 December: “Mr. Ben Daniel calls our sons and daughters eaters of death, baby killers, and claims that this is how they were educated. We turned today (Thursday) to the President of Ben-Gurion University and the Rector of the institution, demanding the dismissal of Dr. Sebastian Ben Daniel, a lecturer who regularly harshly criticizes IDF[26] soldiers. "The continued employment of Sebastian is a spit in the face," they wrote, "the voice of the blood of our sons and daughters cries out from the ground, dismiss him immediately." "We were shocked to read the disgraceful statements of the lecturer Dr. Sebastian Ben Daniel," they wrote to President Prof. Daniel Chaichomovitz, with a copy to Rector Prof. Haim Heimes. "The fact that in the academic institution you head, such a person is employed, is a spit in the face of us, the bereaved families, those who have lost what is most precious. Our sons went out to fight in Gaza to protect the people of Israel. Religious, secular, traditional, Ashkenazim, Mizrahim, without distinction of ethnicity or religion, regardless of their origins or political views. Now we discover that Mr. Ben Daniel calls our sons and daughters eaters of death, baby killers, and claims that this is how they were educated. Does Mr. Ben Daniel think that we, the parents, educated our children to murder babies in Gaza?”
