Israeli Official Incitement: November 2021

Israeli Incitement Reports
December 14, 2021

I. Against the Palestinian People

Eli Cohen – Member of Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 22 November)

“On Wednesday, in two weeks, the Knesset will discuss my bill proposal on the expulsion of the families of terrorists1 who express their support for a murder committed by one of their family members! (…)”

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for the Yemina party (Facebook, 21 November)

“As long as we continue to show weakness with the issue of the Temple Mount2, we will continue to receive blow3. Full Israeli sovereignty over the mountain is a strategic and moral goal, and without it, we will not see calm.

Additionally, the police statement that the mountain is closed to Jews shows weakness. We face a murderous jealous and determined enemy4, who cannot be dealt with using metal detectors, cement, retreat, or revoking the rights of Jews in the holy of holies for our people.

Only a hand of iron and stubborn faith in our right over the entire land in general, specifically over Zion5, will give us long term security(...).”

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for the Yemina party (Facebook, 24 November)

“There is not a single Jewish-Israeli child that did not learn the song "I was born for peace let it arrive” in kindergarten, while children in the PA are brainwashed by anti-Semitic teachings that generate 13 and 15 year old terrorists6(…).”

II. And against the Indigenous Palestinian citizens of Israel

Shlomo Karhi – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 01 November)

“The Likud will soon head the state control committee7. We will track every Shekel that Abbas8 and the United Arab List receive so that it does not reach Gaza or Hamas9.

Our struggle must be expanded. We must grant released soldiers free land and tax benefits in mixed cities10 for veterans of the army and civil or national services11 to strengthen the Judaization of the Negev and the Galilee12.”

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for Yemina party (Facebook, 02 November)

“Get out of this Knesset, you enemy, you13 and your friends14 are damned terrorists’ huggers, evil terrorists’ supporters15.  Your ungratefulness has not been seen in history16.”

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for Yemina party (Facebook, 01 November)

“Ayman Odeh17 is responsible for violently attacking a member of Israel's Knesset18. Samy Abu Shahadeh19 boasts that the "heroes of al-Lydd"20 broke the noses of the Jewish population. The two openly support terrorism against Israel and do not recognize it as a Jewish state.

The decision of the prosecution and the Supreme Court to ignore the violence and incitement by members of the Joint List, the supporters of terrorism, turned the Knesset into a circus.”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 04 November)

“Terrorist!! Terrorist!! Terrorist!! Terrorist!! I have screamed and warned that he21 is a danger to state security. Today, Odeh22 violated privacy by photographing documents he was not allowed to do23. Tomorrow he will photograph secret documents. I call the police and the security services to open an immediate investigation against him (…).”

Benjamin Netanyahu - Head of the opposition and Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 10 November)

“The Likud –

The Arab media is celebrating: The Bennett-Abbas24 government is promoting the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. This government is dangerous to Israel, and that is why we will continue to work to bring it down as soon as possible25."

Miri Regev – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 09 November)

“The first Israeli-Palestinian government in Israel.

To see the image of Mansour Abbas sitting with the King of Jordan, discussing the process with the Palestinians, is very worrying.

How does a supporter26 of the Islamic movement and Hamas become someone who meets Arab leaders and discusses the Palestinian issue with Bennett's blessing?

The citizens of Israel have to wake up.

We cannot leave the security of the state of Israel in the hands of Mansour Abbas, the Islamic Movement and Hamas.”

Eli Cohen – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 10 November)

“Crazy! Delusional! Dangerous! You choose how to describe the Bennett-Lapid27 government that sends Abbas28 to Jordan to discuss the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Abbas, who is of the Muslim Brotherhood, who is opposed to the existence of a democratic Jewish state, is conducting a political negotiation in our name?”

Ofir Akunis – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 10 November)

“An immediate and obvious danger:

The Palestinian terror state is at our doorsteps!! (…)

When the "government" was formed, I told you that it has an overwhelming majority supporting the "two states" outline and a new terror state29 in the heart of our lands (...).”

David Amsalem – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 09 November)

“10 degrees to the right, 100 degrees to the left30...

The Islamic movement31 controls the government, and their "civic" subjects turned into taking control over the Negev, financially supporting Hamas and now promoting the establishment of a Palestinian state32 (…).”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 11 November)

“Today, 17 years ago, the master of killers, Yasser Arafat died, may his name be erased.  The terrorist Arafat, whose hands are stained with the blood of hundreds and thousands of Jews killed simply for being Jewish. Tibi33, who was his advisor, has a seat in the Israeli Knesset. What a shame.”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 26 November)

“(...) The Muslim Brotherhood in the government34 wants to legalize the illegal construction in the Negev35 by supplying electricity. Where did you hear of a thief taking over the land and demanding electricity36? A state of madness.”

III. Against President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for Yemina party (Facebook, 17 November)

“(...)The PA is at the forefront of the anti-Semitic attack on the mere existence of the state of Israel along with several BDS organizations who receive massive European funding(...).”

Regavim Organization37 (Twitter, 01 November)

“Apparently, the PA38 has not learned the difference between civilian and terrorist activity.

Killing Jews and paying wages to murderous terrorists39 = terrorist activity.

Judicial and parliamentary work to uncover terrorist organizations40 and their involvement in land control41= civilian activity42.

We're proud to be called "terrorist organization" by the Palestinian Authority.”

IV. Additional Examples

Nir Barkat – Member of Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 25 November)

“UNRWA, mistakenly called "The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees", is an engine of hatred towards the state of Israel and harm against Jews. I proposed a bill to stop all its activities in the State of Israel.”

Ofir Akunis – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 19 November)

“Truth always triumphs over lies!

That is always true, and it is super true for our people over the generations.

This week, I launched the Lobby to Combat Anti-Semitism and the BDS43 with my friends Gadi Yevarkan44 and Amichai Chikli45.

Inciting organizations that call for imposing a boycott on Israel represent modern anti-Semitism. No words can change that fact. Hatred of Israel is anti-Semitic, and no artificial debate on the “borders of 67” can change that(...).”

Nir Barkat – Member of Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 04 November)
