Israeli Official Incitement: October 2021

Israeli Incitement Reports
November 09, 2021

I. Against the Palestinian People

Shlomo Karhi – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 08 October)

“The first anti-Zionist government is eradicating Zionism and allowing "the right of return." Shaked, Silman, Kalfon and Orbach1, you can't say "Our hands did not shed this blood2”, it’s on your hands! Examine who were the attackers3 during “Operation Guardian of the Wall”4  and you will understand the level of danger (...).”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 19 October)

"I arrived at Kaplan hospital, to understand how the terrorist Al-Qawasmi5 is given the conditions and respect of the kings, and how he is still alive after 90 days of fasting. And who came to defend him and attack me? Of course, Ayman Odeh6. Don't worry, I didn't surrender. Two terrorists in one swoop.”

Ayelet Shaked - Minister of Interior (Facebook, 23 October)

“An important work by Minister of Defense Benjamin Gantz, following the confirmed intelligence information from the General Security Agency and the headquarters of the economic fight against terrorism. These organizations7 have, for many years, been wearing the masks of "human rights" organizations, but in reality they are organizations that support terrorist acts by the Popular Front and provide fuel for the BDS group. Many countries have funded these organizations and it is good that we put an end to that.”

II. And Against the Indigenous Palestinian Citizens of Israel

Amichai Chikli – Member of the Knesset for the Yemina party (Facebook, 15 October)

“(...) the rampant violence in Arab society8 is a product of the cultural genes that characterize many Arab societies in the Middle East (see what is happening in Syria and Lebanon).

These genes venerate (...) violence as a legitimate mean for solving problems in the family, community and national sphere. When we add to these genes Islamic religious zeal and Palestinian nationalism, the result will be an explosive device that cannot be dealt with kindly or in conversation.

This progressive discourse, which divides the world into oppressors9 and the oppressed10, and believes that violence in Arab society is the result of oppression, is the central obstacle today in the way of dealing with the most serious national challenges which the State of Israel is facing (…)”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 16 October)

“The terrorist Ahmad Tibi11 came to support another terrorist, Miqdad Al-Qawasmi12, at Kaplan hospital. What more needs to happen for the Israeli government to expel the terrorists13 from the Knesset?”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 27 October)

“Yesterday, the terrorists from the Joint List14 arrived in Ramallah to support terrorist organizations15 that the state of Israel declared as terrorist organizations.

In what other country in the world would this pass quietly? I call on Attorney General Mandelblit to immediately investigate them for compromising the state’s security. We are talking about terrorists16 working in the Israeli Knesset, until when will we be stepped on?”

Ofir Katz – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 04 October)

“But what, yes? A coalition with a supporter of the investigation in The Hague against IDF soldiers17, with a party that embraces killers of Jews18, and calls terrorists as freedom fighters19, and MKs who call for the release of terrorists20 who lynch Jews, and an MK21 who disgraces the Holocaust alarm and memory. Simply shameful22.”

Matan Peleg - Director of Im Tirtzu Settlers’ movement (Twitter, 20 October)

“When the state employs Arabs23 who have never served it24 and support terrorism, what is the message we are sending to the minorities serving in the IDF and Sherut Leumi25 ?”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 08 October)

“I am happy that the Welfare Ministry met my demand and cancelled the campaign with the anti-Zionist, B.D.S. supporter, who has called for the harm of Israel26, and we will continue to fight against those opposing the state of Israel27.”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 03 October)

“I wish a speedy recovery to the Minister of Heath of the State of Israel who will soon return to office. Giving legitimacy to supporters of terrorism and smile is a disease that is difficult to cure28.”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 14 October)

“I support the words of my friend Bezalel Smotrich29, and the story here is not Ahmed Tibi, Ayman Odeh30, or Abbas31. For decades, the Supreme Court has allowed these supporters of terrorism32 to run in parliamentary elections even when their hands are stained with blood, from Bishara to Hanin Zoabi and Hiba Yazbek33. Only a real change in the judiciary system can remove supporters of terrorism from the Knesset.”

Bezalel Smotrich – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 13 October)

“If Ben-Gurion34 knew that the fifth column35 (enemy from within) he left here supports terrorism that calls for the annihilation of the State of Israel and sits in the Knesset of Israel and shouts that Zionism is racist and that this state is not Jewish and does not have the right to maintain a Jewish majority, he would not have stopped the caravans of Arab refugees who fled here in 1948.”

III.  Against the European Union /UN Organizations

Gilad Erdan - Israeli Ambassador to the UN (Facebook, 05 October)

“The UN proved yesterday that it is not only biased against us, it also silences (our) voices. This will not help them. I will uncover their lies from any stage, and I will expose the truth. It is hard to believe, but yesterday during the debate about UNRWA, its inciting agency, the United Nations prevented me from showing pictures that prove that UNRWA teachers are anti–Semitic and inciters. I did not remain silent and threw the truth in their face (…)”
