Israeli Official Incitement: September 2022

Israeli Incitement Reports
October 12, 2022

I. Against the Palestinian People

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party

(Facebook, 1 September 2022)

“I arrived at the hospital to check the confinement measures of the terrorist[1]. Join me.”

Regavim Movement (Twitter, 6 September 22)

“Lapid and Gantz, the rule of law includes Khan al-Ahmar[2]! (…)The judgment of Khan Al-Ahmar is to be demolished as the state agreed in the High Court of Justice. Any delay proves that the rule of law is not important[3]. The time arrived a long time ago – enforce the law in the flag outpost of the Palestinian Authority.”

Ad Kan Movement[4] (Twitter, 7 September 22)

“We just said it – a new house was opened yesterday, funded by Alqulob organization[5] in Al-Nasiriya, a Palestinian village near Nablus. A project of the Social Development office of the Palestinian Authority. Why is the state of Israel funding these projects? Join our request to cancel the registered non-profit status and investigate its conduct.”

II. Against the Indigenous Palestinian Citizens of Israel

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 28 September 2022)

“The only vacation that should be booked on the website Booking[6] is a one-way ticket for Odeh, Cassif, and Tibi[7]. Those who love Israel do not support those who boycott us.”

Itamar Ben Gvir – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism (Twitter, 6 September 2022)

“The murder of a mother and daughter[8], a murder of a journalist[9], all this in the past 2 days in the Arab society. The police must protect its citizens, we must enter towns, confiscate weapons and provide security to the citizens. The silence of the leaders of the Arab public is loud. Where crime rules and there is no sovereignty[10], murderous terrorism grows, which threatens the mere existence of Israel.”

Simcha Rothman – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter[11], 6 September 22)

“I think the right-wing parties have high-quality people with a clear agenda, but even those who think otherwise[12], will have to eventually choose: will his vote go to the bullies from the left, with the blunt and violent language, and the harsh and dangerous acts, who are willing to sell the state to terrorism supporters[13], or to “bullies” from the right. The choice is obvious.”

Ayelet Shaked – Head of Yemina, Minister of Interior Affairs (Twitter, 14 September)

“I extended the travel ban for Raed Salah[14], the terrorist supporting Sheikh who incites violence against Jews, for another 5 months. The order was signed after it was made clear to me that his departure from the country is with the goal of working with terror organizations to hurt the security of Israel and not an innocent vacation. Anything related to terrorism supporters, I will work without compromise.”

Yoav Kisch – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Twitter, 21 September 22)

“Lapid is recycling the two-state disaster[15]. He has no choice, that’s how it is when you need the Muslim Brotherhood[16], Ayman Odeh, and Tibi[17] for your government.”

III. Against President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership

Orit Strook–Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter[18], 5 September)

“Unbelievable! Due to the attacks [19]– the government intends to strengthen the Palestinian Authority?! An authority that funds terrorism monthly[20], that incites      terrorism, that educates for terrorism – that’s the one you want to strengthen? The leniency of the government with Abu Mazen truly knows no bounds. A dangerous government.”

Michal Woldiger –Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 7 September 22)

“When Matan Kahana[21] recommends strengthening the Palestinian Authority, and Gantz is hosting Abu Mazen[22], the patron of terrorists, in his living room, the Americans smells a weak government and an opportunity, and then chaos, “we’ll dictate their firing orders”[23]. This will not be!”

Betzalel Smotrich – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 6 September 22)

“Gantz, as someone who hosts Abu Mazen, the Holocaust denier, in his home, hurts the settlement in Judea and Samaria[24] and all the values that are important to us, you best not underestimate the intelligence of the religious national public. Instead of counting the number of religious people on your list, we can simply count the number of terrorism supporters[25] you will need to form a government.”

Orit Strook – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 14 September 22)

“The weapons of the Palestinian Authority are pointed at us! (…) Enough with the cover up! The Palestinian Authority is not the solution. It’s the problem. The solution is “Guardian of the Walls” [26]

IV. Additional Examples

Ayelet Shaked – Minister of Interior Affairs and Head of Yemina party (Twitter, 21 September 22

“Residents of Judea and Samaria, I continue to fight for you! I stopped the dividing culture agreement[27] that Lapid and Gantz led with the EU who discriminates against the citizens of Judea and Samaria. The righteous Europeans need to understand that the law in Tel Aviv is the same as in Ariel [28] and Otniel.[29] All citizens of Israel are equal, and I will not let boycotts from Europe to seep into Israel.”

Benjamin Netanyahu – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party and head of the opposition (Twitter, 23 September 22)

“We will not let Lapid establish a Palestinian state and return us to the Oslo disaster[30].”

Eli Cohen – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 22 September 2022)

“Establishing a Palestinian state in the heart of the country is dangerous and disconnected.[31]

After a decade where we manage to remove the matter from the agenda, Yair Lapid shows us why everyday he remains in control, we all pay the price. Lapid’s government is dangerous to the security of the state!”

Miki Zohar – Member of the Knesset for the Likud party (Twitter, 22 September 2022)

“To those who still had doubt: only the Likud will prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.”

Danny Danon – Israel’s Former Ambassador to the UN, Chairman of the World Likud (Facebook, 22 September 22)

“Over the years we worked hard to remove the dangerous idea of a Palestinian state in the heart of Israel from the agenda. And we were successful. We brought peace [32]with Arab states regardless of the Palestinian issues. Lapid, with one speech tomorrow, may take us back a decade. Israel has no future with Lapid.”

Betzalel Smotrich – Member of the Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 22 September 22)

“The meaning of Lapid’s speech in UN is going back to the damn Oslo days. High words that are not pleasant to the ear, wrapping a shameful surrender to terrorism[33] and it strives to divide the land, surrender land, and displace many Jews from their homes. We cannot let this happen.”

Regavim organization[34] (Twitter, 22 September 2022)

“There are those who speak of a Palestinian state (Lapid), and there are those who are actually promoting it (Gantz). A Palestinian state between Jordan and the sea is a danger to the existence of Israel, no more or less than an Iranian threat. Whoever brings back the dangerous idea of a Palestinian state to the table, and whoever doesn’t prevent (and encourages) Palestinian takeover of lands in Judea and Samaria, is risking the state of Israel.”

Ayelet Shaked – Minister of Interior Affairs and Head of Yemina party (Twitter, 21 September 22)

“The transitional Prime Minister, Lapid, has no public legitimacy to entangle Israel with statements that will cause damage to the state. Lapid represents only himself with that statement. A Palestinian state is dangerous to Israel.”
