Al Sheikh welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and demand an end to the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people

Ramallah - June 24, 2025 - Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel in a statement issued on Tuesday.

In his statement, Al Sheikh called for an end to the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people in general, and the people in the Gaza Strip in particular. Al Sheikh also called for the launch of a political process leading to an end to the Israeli occupation, in addition to the need to implement international law and international legitimacy.
