WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on April 9th 2017, the Israeli Military imposed a full closure of the West Bank for the "Passover" Holiday and prevented residents including those with Valid entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel except Diplomatic missions, International Organizations and Medical emergency cases until 24:00 on April 17th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Abi Dis town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Biddu town until 04:00.

Deportation

On April 12th 2017,Israeli forces issued a court order deporting Basil Al-Zaghir from Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 30 days.

Attack

At 08:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several resident for alleged stoning and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents during clashes in Abu Dis town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00 a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Yabroud village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:20.
3. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nabi Salah village and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces raided Abboud town and temporarily detained Falah Abdel-Majid then released him at a later time.
2. At dawn on April 14th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 22:20, Israeli forces detained Zaher Jum'a Raja {A resident of Qarwat Bani Hassan village}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Nabi Salah village detained Waleed Samah Al-Rimawi {A resident of Beit Rima town}.
3. Israeli forces detained Sufiyan Bassam Al-Miqdadi in Al-Bireh city.

Temporary Detention

At 09:20, Israeli forces temporarily detained Falah Abdel-Majid during their raid into Abboud town then released him at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces raided Fahma village, stormed and searched a home and confiscated a vehicle.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ahmad Shafiq Sa'abna during their raid into Fahma village.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jinsafut village then searched residents and vehicles.
2.At 13:20 and again at 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road between Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Immatin village , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:40.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 22:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara checkpoint junction and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.

Raid

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town until 00:20.
2. At dawn on April 14th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed a holy site in the area then withdrew at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Oja village junction then searched residents and vehicle until 14:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
2. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
3. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Ta'mar village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:40.
4. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitar village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:05.

Raid

At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, detained a resident then withdrew at 01:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Hassan Nabhan in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 07:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles until 08:30.
2. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city {along bypass road (35) near Halhul bridge} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
3. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Al-Juz area {located at the entrance of Bani Na;im town} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samiya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} and at the entrance of Beit Einoun then searched residents and vehicle.

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 04:10.

Detention

At 13:35, Israeli forces detained Rasam Rateb Ibrahim Zuhda {A resident of Hebron city}.

Attack

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sa'ir town.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hebron city.

House Occupation

On the morning of April 13th 2017, Israeli forces occupied the home of Khalid Al-Shahatit located in Khursa village then converted its rooftop into a military post.

Settlers Attacks

On April 13th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Ein Far'a village located in North Dura village and performed Talmudic rituals.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports in the coming month

Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1.At 09:45 on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 13:55 on April 13th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 17:00 on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:30 on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town.

Detention

On the evening of April 13th 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in east Khan Yunis city as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

At 12:00 on April 13th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
