WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• At 19:00 on 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, due to their celebration of the establishment of the State of Israel, and prevented citizens and workers, including those holding permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical cases after prior coordination, until 24:00 on 15/04/2021.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At dawn on 14/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Qalandia military checkpoint, and prevented traffic in both directions, under the pretext of finding a suspicious object, and reopened it at a later time.

Detention

1. On 12/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Mukhtar Qara'en in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At dawn on 12/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmad Marwan Abu Jumaa, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Temporary Detention

At dawn on 14/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 6 citizens:Moataz Mahmoud Al-Hajj, Qusay Ashour, Ahmed Al-Rishq, Ali Hamdan, Muhammad Ismail, and Nabil Shreiteh in the Bab al-Amoud area in Jerusalem , and transferred them for investigation at the Israeli occupation police station on Salah al-Din Street In the city.

Assaults on Property

On the evening of 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces prevented near the Lions Gate (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, from distributing breakfast meals to the fasting people, and seized them.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
2. On the evening of 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces stormed (before the evening prayer) all the minarets in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the loudspeakers were switched off, under the pretext of preventing interference with the Jewish holiday celebrations near the Al-Buraq Wall.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the settlement of "Beit El", north of the city of Al-Bireh, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided Zbuba village, and patrolled until 15:20.
2. At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Araba and Jaba, and the villages of Sanur and Anza, and patrolled until 23:05.

TUBAS

Detention

On 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Khirbet Al-Farisiyah in the northern Jordan Valley detained the citizen: Ahmad Hussein Daraghmeh.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Faroun and Khirbet Jabara, and conducted a patrol.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the "Yitzhar" settlement junction, north of Huwara, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:00, a group of settlers entered the outskirts of Huwara, and attacked the citizen Saddam Omar, while he was in front of his house.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 16:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Junction of Beit Ainoun village, and detained a citizen.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 13/04/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 09:00 on 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 13/04/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 13/04/2021, is open in both directions (for the entry and departure of citizens).
