WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 19:00 on 13/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, due to their celebration of the establishment of the State of Israel, and prevented citizens and workers, including those holding permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical cases after prior coordination, until 24:00 on 15/04/2021.

JERUSALEM

Attack

At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud in the Old City of Jerusalem to prevent them from sitting in the area.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Halamish" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Araba, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Settlers Attacks

On 15/04/2021, a group of settlers stormed the ruins of the "Tersala" settlement near the town of Jaba, and performed "Talmudic" rituals at the site, and as a result, confrontations took place between the Israeli occupation forces and the citizens.

Attack

On 15/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens force alleged stoning while escorting a group of settlers that stormed the ruins of the "Tersala" settlement.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Settlers Attacks

On 15 04. 2021, a group of settlers stormed the village of Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley, and tried to storm the (Challenge 10) school, which caused a state of terror among the students, as they were prevented by the teaching staff.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of 14/04/2021, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens of Jaloud village, cut down and uprooted 45 olive trees, and destroyed a fence in the vicinity of a plot of land owned by the citizen: Hisham Imad Hammoud, and caused material damage to equipment and building materials at a construction site They emptied more than 30 bags of cement on building steel, poured 3 cups of water on the cement, and stole construction equipment from the site.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city, at 21:55 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 24:00.
2. At 12:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Auja junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 15:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho city, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Detention

At 00:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Hamra checkpoint detained the citizen: Ahmed Mustafa Ahmed Daraghmeh - a resident of Tubas.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 11:00.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement after Israeli gunboats opened fire towards Palestinian fishermen's boats at sea in the North Gaza governorate, Israeli aircrafts luanched 8 missiles from warplanes in (4 successive air strikes) in the governorates of Gaza, Central Gaza, and Rafah.
• Palestinian armed groups violated the ceasefire by firing projectiles towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": 15/04/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 23:00 on 15/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired towards Palestinian fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

Palestinian Attacks

At 21:00 on 15/04/2021, members of Palestinian armed groups fired projectiles towards the Green Line.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Air Strike

1. At 01:00 on 16/04/2021, Israeli aircrafts launched two missiles, targeting a site of a Palestinian armed group, east of the town of Juhr Al-Dik, southeast of Gaza City.
2. At 01:10 on 16/04/2021, Israeli aircrafts launched two missiles, targeting a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group, east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

CENTRAL GAZA

Air Strike

At 01:30 on 16/04/2021, Israeli aircrafts launched two missiles, targeting agricultural land east of Al-Bureij camp.

Detention

At 15:45 on 15/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained a unidentified citizen in east of Al-Bureij camp, while he was trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: 15/04/2021 is closed (under the pretext of Jewish holidays).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 15/04/2021, it is open in both directions (for entry and departure of citizens).

Air Strike

At 01:20 on 16/04/2021, Israeli aircrafts launched two missiles, targeting a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group, east of Rafah.
