WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Since 24:00 on April 9th 2017, the Israeli Military imposed a full closure of the West Bank for the "Passover" Holiday and prevented residents including those with Valid entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel except Diplomatic missions, International Organizations and Medical emergency cases until 24:00 on April 17th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00 a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Beit Ur Al-Tahta village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:50, Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed agricultural land in Ein Qinya village then withdrew at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Jalboun village until 23:40.
2. On the evening of April 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ra'i and Fahma villages then clashed with several residents.

Attack

On the morning of April 17th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Ra'i town and Fahma village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:40.

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Quffin town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

Raid

1. At dawn on April 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At dawn on April 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Far'oun village and detained a resident after storming his home.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Baha Imad Qa'dan in Tulkarem city.
2 Israeli forces detained Rabi' Ahmad Farakh in Far'oun village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Azzun Atma town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun Atma village.

Closure of main Roads

At 09:35, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem in order to allow a group of Israeli settlers from "Karni Shamrn" settlement to participate in a marathon from the settlement to"Kadumim" settlement then reopened it after the marathon was completed.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land located in North Kafr Qaddum village then withdrew at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles until 18:45.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shomron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 19:10.
3. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:20.

Detention

On the morning of April 16th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Mustafa Hassan Ayed {A resident of Tel village} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Closure of main Roads

At 18:20, Israeli forces closed the main road near "Yitzhar" settlement leading to Tel village with dirt mounds.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:50, Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Burqa village then withdrew at 12:30.
2. At 16:30, Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land located in Al-Qa'adat area located in south Madma village then withdrew at 17:15.

SALFIT

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Yasuf village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:25,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nabi Musa area junction {along the main road connecting Jericho and Jerusalem} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

Detention

At 15:05, Israeli forces positioned along the main road in Wadi Al-Qult area detained Yusef Ahmad Siwlum {A resident of Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:20.

Settlers Attacks

At 08:15, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli forces stormed Irtas village then withdrew at 12:00.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem cities} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Karnatina area located in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Farsh Al-Hawa area {located along bypass road 35} and at Ithna town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Hebron city {near bypass road 35 alng Hahul town bridge} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, closed down the offices of Palestine Polytechnic University located near Hebron University and closed down the offices by sealing the main entrances and windows with steel.

Assaults on Property

At 00:45, closed down the offices of Palestine Polytechnic University located near Hebron University and closed down the offices by sealing the main entrances and windows with steel during their raid into Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports in the coming month.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards Central Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats in North Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing point is partially opened for Humanitarian and emergency medical cases on April 16th 2017 from 13:00 until 15:00.

Attack

At 08:30 on April 16th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 11:00, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 60 m into the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 16:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed for easter Holidays.
