WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a child, detained a resident, demolished 3 plant shops owned by Ibrahim Salah Al-Din and Mohammad Sabah for allegedly being built with out a license then confiscated cloths, cigarettes and 150000 NIS from a store owned by Mohammad Salah Al-Din.
2. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Aqab town, stormed and searched a merchant shop and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 03:40 on April 16th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yazid Bahir and Mohammad Bahir during their raid into Abu Dis town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At dawn on April 17th 2019, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Ghayth in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Anad Faris Salah Al-Din in Hizma town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nabil Abu Obied {a resident of Biddu town} and Rami Shamasna {a resident of Qatana town} in Kafr Aqab town.

Attack

At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned in Hizma town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Ahmad Mohammad Foad Al-Khatib {13 years old} during clashes in Hizma town.

Destruction of Property

At 11:55, Israeli forces demolished 3 Plant shops owned by Ibrahim Salah Al-Din and Mohammad Sabah in Hizma town for allegedly being built without a licence.

Confiscation of Property

At 11:55, Israeli forces confiscated cloths, cigarettes and 150000 NIS from a store owned by Mohammad Salah Al-Din during their raid into Hizma town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 16th 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Silwad town and Ein Yabroud village, detained a child then withdrew at 11:30.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Raid

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 05:00, Israeli forces raided Kobar town, clashed with several residents as they demolished a home of a Palestinian Detainee.
3.At 06:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 5 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located in the area between Silwad town and Yabroud village detained Soliman Salem Qassim Abdel-Rahman {16 years old}.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Malik Hisham Abu Khalifa, Mohammed Hisham Abu Khalifa, Mustafa Jamal Al Rumhi, Amjad Riyad Al Safi and Mohammed Walid Abu Hilwa in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Attack

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident leaving him hospitalized.
2. At 05:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demolished a home of a Palestinian Detainee in Kobar town.
3. At 06:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Jalazoun camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Hani Abu Qara' during clashes in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.

House Demolition

At 05:00, Israeli forces demolished the home home of Salah Omar Al-Barghouthi in Kobar town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Ajja and Al-Ramat villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ya'bad town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on April 17th 2019, Israeli forces raided Arrana village then stormed and searched several homes.

TULKAREM

Closure of Wall Gates

At 08:00, Israeli forces closed the steel wall gate {526} located in Baqa Al-Sharqiya town, prevented resident from passing through the gate in order to farm land located behind the wall then reopened it after coordinating with the Palestinian Security Liaison.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes and detained 5 residents {including a child}.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Walid Ismail Radwan {15 years old}, Saeed Farouk Abu Haniya, As'ad Abdulsalam Hassan, Abdullah Mustafa Radwan, and Mohammad Mustafa Radwan in Azzun town.

Attack

At 02:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jama'in town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 00:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sara village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.

Assaults on Property

On April 16th 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Khirbiet Yanoun area and placed banners showing the transfer of hundreds of dunums of agricultural land planted with olive trees and other crops to a nature reserve.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town until 17:50.

JERICHO

Raid

At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Abat Jabir camp in Jericho city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 03:05.

Detention

At 03:15 on April 16th 2019, Israeli forces detained Amro Samir Abdel-Lahi Al-Assali during their raid into Jericho city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

Attack

At 01:40, Israeli fores positioned in Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Rashidiyat village, detained 2 residents and summoned Rakan Ali Oda Rashayda to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 05:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained 4 residents and summoned the child Ahmad Mahmoud Sami Issa to report to Israeli intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 21:45, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Jamil Zawahra {a resident of Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Bashar Soliman Muhisien Al-Rashaydat in Al-Rashaydat village.
3.Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ali Mustafa Mahmoud Salah, Mahmoud Ibrahim Salah, Qusay Ali Mohammed Issa, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Issa in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Hariya area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 11:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp then stormed and searched 3 homes.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Ithna town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
3. At dawn on April 17th 2019, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Maher Nathmi Jaradat and Musa Nathmi Jaradat in Sa'ir town.

Attack

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children in Hebron secondary school and Tarik Bin Zied school for alleged stoning and as a result left several school children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 19:05, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Durat area in Sa'ir town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Physical Assault

At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned in Jaber neighborhood in the old city of Hebron assaulted Ishaq Izzat Jaber and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

House Demolition

At 11:20, Israeli forces stormed Sussiya village located in east Yatta town demolished a tent owned by Hussien Radi Al-Nawaj'a.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in both direction.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Khursa village junction impeded the free flow of traffic in both direction until 21:40.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:00, a Israeli settlers vehicle travelling in the old city of Hebron ran over the child Omar Ra'fat Al-Salayma {14 years old} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

The child:Omar Ra'fat Al-Salayma {14 years old} was hospitalized with contusions after being ran over by a a Israeli settlers vehicle travelling in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 11:00 on April 16th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:30 on April 16th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'a'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 22:40 on April 16th 2019, , Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 09:20 on April 16th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
