DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. On 04/18/2021,the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Bassam Abdel Salam Salah El-Din - residents of Hizma town.
2. At 11:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, detained the citizen: Ahmed Ali Tariq Yamin - a resident of Nablus.
3. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned the Bab al-Amud area in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Mahmoud al-Shawish - a resident of the city of Jerusalem.

Deportation

1. On 04/18/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Muhammad Arna`ut - a resident of Jerusalem, for a period of 6 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. On the evening of 04/18/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Ahed Al-Rishq - a resident of Jerusalem, for a week from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Attack

On the evening of 04/18/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud in the Old City of Jerusalem, as they were leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque after performing Tarawih prayers.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 02:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided Tulkarm camp, where clashes took place with citizens as they stormed and searched of a number of homes, detained a citizen then withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

The detainee in Tulkarm camp is: Adnan Ahmad Khader Al Hosari.

Attack

At 02:10, the Israeli occupation forces, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a number of houses during their raid into Tulkarm camp in Tulkarm city.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

On 04/18/2021, a group of settlers from the settlement of "Yitzhar" entered the outskirts of the village of Asira al-Qibliya, and burned the electricity distribution cabinet of the water tank feeding the village of Asira al-Qibliya.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 02:00.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00 and again at 00:20 on 18/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city to search cars and check citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:55.
2. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Nahalin town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 24:00.
3. At 00:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Fardis village roundabout, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 01:30.

HEBRON

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.

• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement , by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 04/18/2021, it is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on the 18/04/2021,the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line towards agricultural lands east of Abasan Al Kabira town, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 18/04/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 18/04/2021, is open in both directions (for the entry and departure of citizens).
