WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on April 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Yusef Soliman Askar in Hizma town.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 20th 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Tatbat town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:50.
2. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Jifna village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Othman Omar Nakhlat in Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli forces detained Yacoub Mustafa Omar Hussien in Jifna town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jinan neighborhood in Jenin city then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 22:40.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents.

Detention

At 16:30, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Mohammad Sa'id Hammad {a resident of Qalqiliya city} in Al-Marj area located in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 23:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Raid

At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Naqqura village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.
2. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Salfit city until 07:35.

Attack

At 11:20, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint opened fire towards a resident and as a result critically injured him then detained him as he was transported to a hospital.

Injuries

Israeli forces critically injured Omar Awni Abdel-Karim Yunis {20 years old}{a resident of Sinariya village in Qalqiliya district} after opening fire towards him near Za'tara junction military checkpoint.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Omar Awni Abdel-Karim Yunis {20 years old}{a resident of Sinariya village in Qalqiliya district} after critically injuring him as they opened fire towards him near Za'tara junction military checkpoint.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Samer Fathi Yousif Al-Sakka,{a resident of Doha town of Bethlehem}, and Issa Mohammed Abdel Salam Masalma, ,{a resident of Bethlehem city} during their raid into Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Khader town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.
3. At 23:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Fuqin village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:50, a Israeli settlers driving his vehicle near Al-Faradis village roundabout ran over the child: Mohammad Raed Abed Ibrahim Askar {5 years old}{a resident of Al-Faradis village} and as as result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

The child: Mohammad Raed Abed Ibrahim Askar {5 years old}{a resident of Al-Faradis village} was hospitalized with contusions after being run over by a Israeli settlers driving his vehicle near Al-Faradis village roundabout.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Wadi Laqif road {which connects Hebron city and Tarqumiya village} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge and detained a residents {a special needs patient}.
3. On April 20th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Arroub camp and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on April 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Yatta and Al-Samou' towns and summoned Yahya Saleh {a resident of Raq'a area in Yatta town} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 20:15, Israeli forces detained Ali Issa Awad {a resident of Al-Tuwani village located in east Yatta town}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint along Halhul town bridge detained Ammar Omar Al-Bakri {a special needs patient}.
3. Israeli forces positioned at Zif village junction detained Mohammad Ibrahim Jabarin {a resident of Yatta town}.
4. Israeli forces detained Sammid Jihad Ja'arat and Sami Al-Teiti in Al-Arroub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 16th 2019 increased the fishing area from Gaza port to South Rafah beach to 15 nautical miles .
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
•Palestinian gunmen broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire and launching projectile towards the Green line.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Palestinian Attacks

At 16:15 on April 20th 2019, Palestinian Gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1.At 08:20 on April 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several Sheppard's near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 16:50 on April 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
