WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. On April 21st 2019, Israeli forces detained the child: Malik Nassir Hushiya {15 years old} {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces detained the child: Saleh Al-Sharqawi {15 years old}{A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.

Deportation

On April 21st 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued home detention orders on 4 residents: Uday Adnan Ghaith, Ibrahim Nidal Ghaith, Ahmed Dia Ghaith, and Hamza Rabea Asalieh {All residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} for a period of 1 week and imposed fines of 1000 NIS and 3000 NIS for each of them as a condition for their release after being detained by Israeli forces at an earlier time.

Assaults on Property

On the evening of April 21st 2019, Israeli forces stormed a hotel located at Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city and prevented Prevented the a ceremony for the signing of of an agreement for the development and sale of Apartments in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city between Jerusalem Holding and Development companies then proceeded to take photos of those attending the ceremony and served several guest {including}: Mazen Sinokrot, Dr. Safa Nasr-Al-Din, Mahdi Sinokrot, Kamal Barakat and Hani Al-Ashier {the Hotel manager} summons to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 21st 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Qad village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Qassam Faysal Abu Sariya in Jenin camp.

TULKAREM

Raid

At dawn on April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Shufat village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Murad Fathi Musa in Shufat village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city,stormed and searched a home , detained a residents, assaulted a woman and as a result left her hospitalized with contusions, confiscated sums of cash from the home then withdrew at 04:15.

Detention

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces detained Malik Mahmoud Ali Sabri {a resident of Qalqiliya city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Marwan Ali Abu Thiyab in Qalqiliya city.

Physical Assault

At 00:30,Israeli forces assaulted Duha Abu Thiyab during their raid into Qalqiliya city and as a result left her hospitalized with contusions.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:30, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash after storming and searching Marwan Ali Abu Thiab's home during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Masahat village until 03:40.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Marada village until 02:10.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at road 90 junction located in the center of Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 16:55, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Mahdi Mahmoud Soliman Sa'id {a resident of Al-Yamoun town in Jenin} as he was travelling to Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55 and again at 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:50.

Raid

1. At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city and detained 3 residents {including a child}.
2. At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Bettar village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Omar Abu Al-Rub {a resident of Abu Dis town in Jerusalem district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Yazen Khaled Ayesh {16 years old}, Anan Ahmad Abed Rabbo Hamida, and Fares Omar Al-Jaidi in Beit Jallah city.
3. Israeli forces detained Moath Hussien Owienat in Bettar village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Dura town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
3. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Khilat Khadour area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

Raid

At dawn on April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya, Ithna and Beit Awwa towns and Deir Sammit village.

Attack

At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children in Hebron secondary school and Tarik Bin Zied. Al-Hajariyat and Khadija Bin Khaldoun secondary schools for alleged stoning and as a result left several school children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

House Occupation

On April 21st 2019, Israeli forces occupied a home owned by Al-Qaddus and Al-Qurd families in the old city of Hebron and converted it into a military post.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of urgent humanitarian cases. The Jerusalem ID card holders, the West Bank governorates and international organizations are in both directions from 07:30 to 13:00. Those holding Gaza strip Identification cards to return to the Gaza Strip only from 07:30 to 19:00, and for the cars from 07:30 to 13:00.

Detention

At 20:30 on April 21st 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence from North east Beit Lahiya town into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 09:00 on April 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near Sufa Crossing located in North east Rafah city.
