DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Qalandia military checkpoint, in front of traffic in both directions, and reopened it at a later time.

Raid

At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Ram then stormed a number of homes.

Detention

1. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens Muhammad Khader Abu Al-Hawa and Tariq Bakr Abu Al-Hawa during clashes in the Bab al-Amud area in Jerusalem city.
2. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the journalist: Asaad Dari, in the Bab al-Amud area in Jerusalem city.
3. At 02:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned the Bab al-Amud area in Jerusalem city detained the citizen: Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud Abd al-Rahman - a resident of Shuafat Camp in Jerusalem.
4. At dawn on 23/04/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 children: Omar Abu Ghanem {14 years old}, Yusef Abu Ghanem {14 years old}, and Khalil Abu Al-Hawa {15 years old} while they were in Al-Misrara neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:00, groups of extremist settlers positioned near Bab al-Khalil, in the Bab al-Amud area, and in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Jarrah, al-Tur, Wadi al-Jawz, and al-Misrara in Jerusalem city, randomly shot and attacked citizens, which resulted in the wounding of a citizen after stoning her vehicle in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and smashing the windows of a number of Citizens' vehicles and damaged tires of a number of others in the neighborhoods of Misrara, Sheikh Jarrah and Bab al-Amud area, and the occupation forces also intervened and fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens to secure protection for settlers and as a result wounded 105 civilians (22 of them were admitted to hospitals to receive treatment The rest of the injuries were treated in the field.)

Attack

At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters in the Bab al-Amud area and in the Sheikh Jarrah, al-Tur, Wadi al-Jouz and al-Misrara neighborhoods in Jerusalem city to secure protection for settlers while they were attacking citizens and as a result 22 civilians went to the hospitals to receive treatment, and the rest of the injuries were treated on the ground).

Injuries

1. A unidentified citizen who was injured as a result of her vehicle being pelted with stones by extremist settlers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem.
2. The 105 unidentified citizens were wounded (22 civilians were admitted to hospitals to receive treatment, and the rest of the injuries were treated in the field) as a result of the occupation forces firing rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards the citizens to secure protection for groups of extremist settlers while they attacked the citizens in the Bab al-Amud area and in the Sheikh neighborhoods Jarrah, Al-Tur, Wadi Al-Joz, and Al-Misrara in Jerusalem.

Closure of main Roads

At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces closed the two entrances to Hizma town, in front of traffic (due to a settler accidentally entering the town), and reopened them later after the settler was removed.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
2. At 23:40, the Israeli occupation police stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and forced the retreat inside it to leave it by force.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Detention

At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Ayyun al-Haramiyeh junction (on the main road, Ramallah - Nablus) detained the citizen: Asim Omar Abdel Aziz Khalil - a resident of al-Sawiya village in the Nablus governorate.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:00, the Israeli; occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 15:25.

Raid

At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley, and a number of families delivered to evacuate their homes within 4 days on the northern side of the village, under the pretext of carrying out military training.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the Azzun bridge (on the main road Qalqilya - Tulkarm), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 22:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, and conducted a patrol.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

At 17:55, a group of settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands in the village of Al-Zawiya, and destroyed a crop of wheat for one of the citizens.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30 and again at 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:15.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 12:00.

Land Confiscation

On 04/22/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities approved a decision to confiscate 147 dunums of the citizens' agricultural lands located in Natural Basin No. (3) in the "Zohr Al-Sedimba" area from the lands of the town of Nahalin, and Natural Basin No. (5) from the "Khallet Al-Salalat" areas. And the Bish people "in the village of Husan, for settlement purposes.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Hebron (near the roundabout of Beit Einoun village), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by storming our areas in the Rafah governorate, by Israeli gunboats firing towards Palestinian fishermen's boats at sea in the Khan Yunis governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 04/22/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 02:00 today 04/23/2021, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards Palestinian boats while chasing them at sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 22/04/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 22/04/2021, is open in both directions (for the entry and departure of citizens).

Raid

At 10:00 on 22/04/2021,several Israeli occupation military vehicles and bulldozers under the cover of reconnaissance aircraft stormed our areas at a depth of about 70 meters east of Al-Nahda neighborhood, east of Rafah, and carried out digging and bulldozing work, and withdrew at 15:00.
