WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bir Nabala town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.

Physical Assault

On the evening of April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Hilwa area in Silwan neighborhood located in Jerusalem city assaulted Hatem Al-Shweiky and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Deportation

On the evening of April 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order banning Arafat Amro {Director of the Islamic Museum in Al-Aqsa Mosque} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 2 weeks as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

At 22:10, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 23rd 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:45 and again at 18:45,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:40.

Raid

At dawn on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Thanaba neighborhood in Tulkarem city and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Islam Abu Haniya during their raid into Thanaba neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Assalat village and uprooted approximately 20 Olive trees owned by Murshid Abdel-Rahman Suliman and Rashid Abdel-Rahman Suliman.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided the eastern neighborhood of Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers {including members of the Israeli Knesset-Parliament} and the Chairman of the Settlement Council who stormed Joseph's Tomb, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 7 residents {including a child} and left 14 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 04:50.
2. On April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the village {for the 2nd consecutive day}.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers {including members of the Israeli Knesset-Parliament} and the Chairman of the Settlement Council who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 7 residents {including a child} and left 14 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents {of those identified are}: Nour al-Din Bashar Khuwayri {17 years old}, and Ammar Sa'id Abdel-Fattah Asqalan during clashes in the eastern neighborhood of Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rafat village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town, clashed with several residents as they demolished {using controlled explosive demolition} the 2nd floor of a building {consisting of 4 apartments} which is owned by the family of Omar Abu Liela {who was killed by Israeli forces} after breaking open the main front entrance and removed its occupants then withdrew at 07:50.

Attack

At 22:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demolished {using controlled explosive demolition} the 2nd floor of a building {consisting of 4 Apartments} which is owned by the family of Omar Abu Liela {who was killed by Israeli forces} during their raid into Al-Zawiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages in Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:45.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the east entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
3. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
4. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:50.
5. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.

Raid

1. At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained 4 residents.
2. At dawn on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a residents and confiscated sums of cash from the home of Nasser Awad.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Khalil Khalid Khalil Salah, Akram Ibrahim Hussein Salah, Ahmed Hussein Salah, and Shehada Mohammed Salah in Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained Muntasir Abdel-Karim Saduq in Bethlehem city.

Attack

At dawn on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Bethlehem city.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash from the home of Nasser Awad during their raid into Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tarmala village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

Since April 22nd 2019, Israeli forces have closed Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron {for the 2nd consecutive day} and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers in the mosque in order allow several settlers to perform Talmudic ritual's for the Jewish holiday "Passover".

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of urgent humanitarian cases. The Jerusalem ID card holders, the West Bank governorates and international organizations are in both directions from 07:30 to 13:00. Those holding Gaza strip Identification cards to return to the Gaza Strip only from 07:30 to 19:00, and for the cars from 07:30 to 13:00.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 12:15 on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 12:00 on April 23rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in north east Rafah city.
