WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town and detained 2 residents.

Raid

At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces detained Nihad Awisat {a resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Biddu town detained 2 residents: Shahab Hossam Sabri Gharib, and Nidal Bassam Abdel Halim {both are residents of Beit Ijsa village}.

Attack

At 18:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 24th 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ijrier village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Ein Arik village and inspected surveillance camera footage in a merchant shop.
2. At dawn on April 25th 2019, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on April 25th 2019, Israeli forces raided Safa village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Anas Mahmoud Sa'id in Bir Ziet town.

Attack

At 12:35,Israeli forces positioned near "Pesagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Yamoun town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:10, Israeli forces raided Bi'r Al-Basha and Sanour villages until 16:50.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun and Al-Silah Al-Harthiya towns and Zubaba village.
3. On the evening of April 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Rababa village and summoned 4 residents to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
4. On the evening of April 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

On the evening of April 24th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Zababda town.

TUBAS

At 16:40, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town until 19:35.

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Quffin town until 13:05.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Irtah neighborhood in Tulkarem city and Far'oun village until 02:35.

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 23:15, Israeli forces raided Harris village until 02:15.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages in Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:55 and again at 22:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Fuqin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town until 21:25.

Settlers Attacks

On April 24th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military raided Solomon's Pools located in Irtas village and conducted Talmudic rituals.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:10, Israeli forces set up along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the morning of April 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites and conducted Talmudic rituals.
2. At 18:10 and again at dawn on April 25th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
3. At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town.
4. At 22:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar and Surif towns then summoned Kifah Ahmad Abu Ayesh {a resident of Beit Ummar town} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Loia Faysal Al-Hashlamoun in Hebron city.

Attack

On April 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arroub camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis district..

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of urgent humanitarian cases. The Jerusalem ID card holders, the West Bank governorates and international organizations are in both directions from 07:30 to 13:00. Those holding Gaza strip Identification cards to return to the Gaza Strip only from 07:30 to 19:00, and for the cars from 07:30 to 13:00.

Detention

At 12:00 on April 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun-Erez crossing detained Karam Mustafa Mohammad Tantawi {a resident of Abraj Al-Kal'a located in south Khan Yunis} as he was accompanying his wife to a hospital in Jerusalem for cancer treatment.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 11:00 on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 10:00 on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.
2. At 10:00 on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:30 on April 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 21:30 on April 24th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
