WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on April 18th 2019, The Israeli Military imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Passover holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination with diplomatic and international staff until 24:00 on April 27th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town.
2. At dawn on April 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 4 residents.

Detention

1. At 12:30,Israeli forces positioned at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem detained Hamam Al-Hussieni.
2. At 19:05, Israeli forces detained Mu'taz Abdallah Zaytoun {a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Muneer Mu'amar Aliyan, Mahmoud Nasser Mustafa, Ayoub Abu Al-Hummus and Yunis Aliyan in Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

On April 27th 2019, Israeli authorities forces Mohammad Sa'id Ahmad Salayma to demolish his home {approximately 130 m2} located in Wadi Qaddum area in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license in order to avoid paying a hefty fine in the event that the Israeli military demolished the home.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 27th 2019, , the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Osama Nathir Hamad and Abdel-Hafith Wasel Azzam in Silwad town.
2. Israeli forces detained Islam Salah Dar Musa in Beit Liqya town.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of April 27th 2019, Israeli forces closed the steel entrance gate located along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp and near "Bet El" settlement and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Silat Al-Thahir town {located long the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

Raid

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town, Masaliya, Marka, Al-Zawiya and Sanour villages.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Maythaloun town.
3. At 07:10, Israeli forces raided Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Bara Abdel-Qadder Sabri Jad in Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir " military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Assaults on Property

On April 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Ein Al-Sakout area located in the North Jordan valley prevented several shepherds from herding their live stock in the area.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:05 and again at 22:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:15.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Attack

At 18:25, Israeli forces positioned at Ayal crossing located in North Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Killings

At 20:00, Omar Awni Abdel-Karim Yunis {20 years old}{a resident of Sinariya village} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards him near Za'tara military checkpoint force allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier as mentioned in the report of April 21st 2019.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavie Shamron" settlement jucntion then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

Raid

1. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided Qussin village.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Ein Beit Al-Ma camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident in the camp then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Hatem Shaheen in Ein Beit Al-Ma camp in Nablus city.

Attack

At 02:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city and Ein Beit Al-Ma camp.

JERICHO

Raid

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Jericho city and Aqbat Jabr camp.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Ramzi Nimer Sader in Jericho city.

Attack

At 01:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 22:40.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town.
3. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town.

Detention

At 22:15, Israeli forces detained Jihad Hazim Jum'a Salah {a resident of Al-Khader town}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Beit Awa town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:05 and again at 21:40, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Rabboud village until 01:20.
4. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Arroub camp, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:05.
5. At dawn on April 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Abu Al-Asajat village then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Obayda Akram Jawabra, Ahmad Rafaat Al-Badawi and Rani Ahmad Mohammad Hadib in Al-Arroub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza, Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 13:30 on April 27th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 15:25 on April 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in North Beit Hanun town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards several residents near the border fence in North Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 02:00 on April 28th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15;30 on April 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 15:40 on April 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
2. At 02:15 on April 28th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
