WEST BANK

Closure

• On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. On the afternoon of April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several buildings and merchant shops.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Biddu and Beit Suriq towns until 21:55.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 04:00.

Detention

At 11:20, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ma'moun Al-Hashim and Judah Salim {Both are residents of Jerusalem city}.

Temporary Detention

On April 3rd 2018, Israeli authorities in the city of Jerusalem imposed 7 days of house arrest and a fine of NIS 1,000 on Mohammed Sultan Abbasi, a resident of the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, as a condition for his release after being arrested earlier.

Attack

On the afternoon of April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several buildings and merchant shops during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town until 06:30.
2. At dawn on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 15:10, Israeli forces detained the child: Muhannad Waseem Nasr {17 years old}{A resident of Um Safa village}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Atarah town bridge detained Fathi Hamdallah Arra {A resident of Qarwat Bani Zied village}.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Aliyan in Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Yamoun town and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces raided Rumana, Al-Taybeh and Annin villages.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Bi'r Al-Basha village.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Yamoun town detained Kareem Ahmad Mustafa Amour {A resident of Rumana village}.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Baqa Al-Sharqiya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on April 4th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Hivat Gilad" settlement located in Fa'rata village, slashed the tires of 5 vehicles owned by: Mahmoud Mohammed Suleiman, Rabhi Sadeq Tawil, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Salah, and Haytham Saleh Salah then spray painted racist graffiti and anti Arab slogans on the vehicles and homes.

Wall Construction

On April 3rd 2018, the Israeli Military began construction on new sections of the apartheid wall in the vicinity of Azzun 'Atma village, southeast of Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village, clashed with several residents in archaeological sites and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village, clashed with several residents, temporarily detained 2 residents then released them at a later time.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Sarah village, clashed with several residents until 01:00.
4. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Rashid Al-Qim in Nablus city.

Temporary Detention

At 18:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Jamal Moatasem Qadous, and Ahmed Hossam Ahed Faqih during their raid into Iraq Burin village then released them at a later time .

Attack

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces positioned at archaeological sites in Sabustiya village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Iraq Burin village.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sarah village.
4. At 01:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nablus city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Nimer Hatem Ghazal and Arafat Mohammad Kayed during clashes at archaeological sites in Sabustiya village.

Assault on Educational sector

On the afternoon of April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces stormed the local Girls secondary school in Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village, forced the school administration to evacuate the premises after they threatened to fire stun and tear gas canisters towards students after the alleged stoning of a settler vehicle from the local Boys secondary school in Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village then proceeded to chase several school children inside agricultural land in the area located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus.

SALFIT

Raid

At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

JERICHO

Raid

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village until 12:20.
2. At 03;40, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Sultan camp in Jericho city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Saleh Mohammed Yousef Abu Sharar and Usama 'Issa' Abd al-Rahman Hudaib in Ein Al-Sultan camp in Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint Dar Salah village bridge{located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

Raid

1. On the morning of April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Irtas village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Suleiman's pools in the village then withdrew at a later time.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained a resident.
3. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Muhannad Mahmoud Al-Wahish in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar area junction then searched residents and vehicles until 20:55.

Raid

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Duwarat village located in south Sa'ir town until 10:45.
2. At 10:35, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town , detained a resident then withdrew at 10:55.
3. At 14:05, Israeli forces raided Halhul town until 16:20.
4. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
5. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Surif town until 04:35.
6. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town.

Detention

1. On April 2nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Jihad Ismail Za'amra {A resident of Halhul town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Adel Ahmad Sari Harsha in Bani Na'im town.

Attack

On the morning of April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Nahda secondary school in Al-Katrina area in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

Since April 2nd 2018, Israeli forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron in front of the citizens and prevent them from praying inside, on the grounds that the settlers can celebrate and perform the Talmudic rites on the occasion of the Jewish "Easter" Holiday.

Land Confiscation

On April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces stormed Beit Ummar town and served a military order for the confiscation of 0.5 dunums of land in Sader Al-Zaytuneh area located on plot number {582} and Basin{22} which is owned by Ahmad Yunis Abu Ayash and his brother Mahmoud {Both are residents of Beit Ummar} which is located near A Israeli Military watch tower for alleged military purposes.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards demonstrators in Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district and as a result killed a resident.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for residents leaving the Gaza Strip for humanitarian emergencies from 07:30 to 13:00, partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:10 on April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result killed a resident.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Ahmad Omar Mohammad Arafa {25 years old}{A resident of Deir Al-Balah city} after opening fire towards him during clashes in in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 12:00 on April 3rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed {with the exception of the entry of 43 fuel trucks}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
