WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town and detained 3 residents.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya tow then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the evening of April 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident and summoned 2 children to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces detained {A resident of Abu Dis town}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Thaer Kamel Mahmoud Tabnja, Abdel Raouf Hassan Mahmoud Shamasneh, and Raed Mohammed Abdulsalam Alyan {All are residents of Qutna village} near the entrance of Biddu town.
3. Israeli forces detained Ameer Karkash in Al-Eisawiya village.
4. Israeli forces detained Omar Rajab Halbiya in Abu Dis town.

Attack

On the evening of April 4th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on April 5th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Beit Hanina town, slashed the tires of several residents and spray painted racist and anti Arab graffiti on several other vehicles.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Ein Ayoub area near Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 14:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Anis Gouda, and Ahmed Mohamed Sadiq {Both are residents of Beit Ur Al-Tahta village}.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 09:05, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town until 14:50.
2. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Da'if village , detained a resident then withdrew at 04:40.
3. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:40.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Safi Najeeb Awad in Deir Abu Da'if village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Salem Ghaleb Abu Bakr {A resident of Jenin City} and Mohammed Talal Jalamna -{A resident of Jenin Camp} during their raid into Jenin city and its camps.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli military intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

On the evening of April 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Khirbiet Hamsa village in the North Jordan valley, stormed and searched a residential tent and a live stock den owned by Yasser Mohammad Abu Kabash.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Zieta town, Nazlat Abu Al-Nar , Nazlat Al-Wusata and Nazlat Al-Gharbiya villages.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Labbad village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Raid

At 08:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shave Shamroon" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.

Raid

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces raided the area located between Beita town and Osarin village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites , clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents and left 4 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Jama'in town and detained a resident.
3. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb, clashed with several residents , detained a resident after storming and searching his home then withdrew at 04:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Sameh Jihad Mohammad {A resident of Kobar village in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district} in Jama'in town.
2. Israeli forces detained Masa'ud Dwikat in Nablus city.

Attack

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned in the area between Beita and Osarin village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites and as a result injured 2 residents and left 4 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb.

Injuries

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Bashar Mefleh and Iyad Hamail during clashes in in the area between Beita and Osarin village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Za'tara military checkpoint junction detained 2 residents: Abdul Rahman Usama Mutlaq Hammoud and Bahaa Saleh Abdullah Brahman.{Both are residents of Al-Far'a camp in Tubas district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Amjad Abdul Karim Ahmed Marai, Nour al-Din Jamal Abdul Aziz Mari, and Mahmoud Abdul Karim Abdul Mariin Qarwat Bani Hassan town.

JERICHO

Raid

At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed the archaeological
site Herodes Palace and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Bassam Mahmoud Ghanawma in Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Harmala village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:50.

Attack

At 20:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Harmala village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Halhul town then withdrew at 03:25.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abed Ahmad Taha Abu Sineneh in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards demonstrators in North Gaza, Gaza ,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for residents leaving the Gaza Strip for humanitarian emergencies from 07:30 to 13:00, and entering the Gaza Strip for citizens with ID cards only until 15:00.

Attack

1. At 10:30 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 08:30 on April 4th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 15:30 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 13:00 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 11:00 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

At 00:45 on April 5th 2018, Israeli military drones launched a missile towards Palestinian gunmen in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:30 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 16:00 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city and as a result several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 15:30 on April 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed {with the exception of the entry of several Fuel trucks}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
