WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, stormed Al-Salam reception hall and prevented event from taking place then summoned Yasser Darwish to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bab al-Asbat (one of main entrance gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained Yazan Abaddin {A resident of Jerusalem city}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Settlers Violence

1. At 08:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Turmus'aya town, vandalized the memorial of Minister Ziyad Abu Ein then removed it 10 meters away from its place.
2. At 09:35, a group of Israeli settlers from "Bet El" settlement stoned residents and vehicles passing along the main road leading to Al-Jalazun camp.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:10.

Raid

At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Safarin village until 19:05.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jit village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:55.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:30, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus cities {from "Qaddumim" settlement junction until "Karni Shamron" settlement} in order to ensure safe passage for a demonstration by Israeli settlers then reopened it at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Burin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 14:05 and again at 23:50, Israeli forces raided Tel village until 02:15

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Dead Sea junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:45.

Raid

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader until 13:20.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 17:20.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einun village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fah's area in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Al-Samn area locate in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:20 and again at 00:35, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Shiyoikh and Halhul towns.

Detention

At 13:10, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint in the old city of Hebron detained Khalil Ahmad Al-Sa'id {A resident of the old city of Hebron}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards demonstrators in North Gaza, Gaza ,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 14 residents and left 30 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation and 2 residents died of previous injuries sustained {one from Israeli missile strike and one from critical injuries sustained during clashes on March 30th 2018.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for residents leaving the Gaza Strip for humanitarian emergencies from 07:30 to 13:00, and entering the Gaza Strip for citizens with ID cards only until 15:00.

Attack

1.At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town and as a result injured 2 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 10:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city.
2. At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city and as a result injured 8 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Zaytuneh neighborhood located south east Gaza city.

Killings

At 08:45 on April 5th 2018, Emergency medical workers discovered the corpse of Mujahid Nabeel Marwan Al-Khader {A resident of Gaza city} in the rubble after an Israeli Missile strike towards Jaher Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city {As mentioned in the previous report}.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a resident and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 22:15 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Al-Maghazi camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 2 residents and left several other residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified resident during clashes in in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Rafah city and as a result injured a resident and left several other residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Rafah city.

Killings

At 11:00 on April 5th 2018, Shadi Hamdan Ali Al-Qashif {34 years old}{A Special needs patient}{A resident of Rafah city} died of injuries sustained {after being shot in the abdomen by Israeli Snipers} in east Rafah city as he was participating in demonstration on March 30th 2018.
