Military Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00 and again at 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 15:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town

Detention

At 22:10, Israeli forces detained Ra'fat Samih Mohammad Najib {a resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.

Deportation

1. On the evening of April 4th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order banning Imran Al-Rajabi from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 5 days as a condition for his release after he was detained at an earlier time.

2. At 18:30, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order banning Ahmad Khalil Abu Arfa and Tawfiq Abu Dahim from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days as a condition for their release after they were temporarily detained

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On April 5th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Halamish" settlement roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 13:25,Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against Israeli confiscation of Palestinian land and settler violence} for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned in Nil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall} for alleged stoning.
3. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned in Bil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall} for alleged stoning.
4. At 15:55, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
5. At 18:50, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Turmus'aya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 16:00, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance located along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp near Bet El settlement and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:35, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at "Halmish" settlement roundabout and impeded the free flow if traffic.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road in east Jenin city and detained 2 residents.

Raid

At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint in east Jenin city detained 2 residents: Sayed Ibrahim Al-Sayed and Mohammad Jamal Al-Sayed {both are residents of Jenin city}.

Attack

At 22:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jenin city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ramiz Samir Mahmoud Abu Obied during clashes in Jenin city.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:45, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli military stormed the area of Homish settlement {which was abandoned} then withdrew at a later time.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Kafr Qaddum village {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 13:30 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Izbit Al-Tabib village.

Detention

At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Al-Naqqar neighborhood in Qalqiliya city detained the child: Loia Ibrahim Shihab {16 years old} for alleged stoning.

Attack

At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left several residents. suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Subhi Mansour Obied during clashes at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village.

Closure of main Roads

On April 5th 2019, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Azzun town with cement blocks and impeded the the free flow of traffic.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Madma village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Qabalan town and Madma village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 16:50, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village.

At 18:25, Israeli forces positioned near Orif village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ahmad Abdel-Karim Al-Safadi during clashes near Orif village.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Masaudiya area located in Burqa village then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli military.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town until 21:10.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town until 06:30.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 10:05, Israeli forces closed Wadi Qana road {which connects Salfit and Qalqiliya districts} and impeded the free flow of traffic because Israeli settlers were in the area then reopened it at 11:25
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Harris town and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

1. At dawn on April 5th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Bruqin town and slashed the tires of a vehicle owned by Arafat Mohammad Barakat then spray painted the star of David on the vehicle..
2. At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Wadi Al-Sha'er area located in east Salfit city then withdrew at a later time.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near Aqbat Jabr camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:20 and again at 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles and detained a National Security Force Officer.

Raid

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Harmala village until 20:45.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town detained Awis Majed Mohammad Thawabta {a resident of Beit Fajjar town}.

Temporary Detention

At 17:40, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint temporarily detained Hiran Sharif Al-Ghaffar Jaradat {a National Security force officer}{a resident of Sa'ir town in Hebron district} then released him at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nabi Yunis area junction {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Simiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 15:25, Israeli forces attempted to storm the Palestinian Police Headquarters in the the old city of Hebron near Bab Al-Zawiya area during which Palestinian Police officers prevented them from entering the building.

Closure of main Roads

At 20:30, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at Khursa village junction and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:50, a Israeli settlers vehicle ran over the child Aysar Mahmoud Hushiya {15 years old} near the entrance of Al-Tuwani village in east Yatta town and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions and fractures .

Injuries

The child: Aysar Mahmoud Hushiya {15 years old} was hospitalized with contusions and fractures after a Israeli settlers vehicle ran him over near the entrance of Al-Tuwani village in east Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and toWadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result , injured 48 residents and left 37 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 15:30 on April 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 6 residents and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:30 on April 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 32 residents and left 15 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 32 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:30 on April 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 5 residents and left 7 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 unidentified after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15:30 on April 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result , injured 1 resident and left 2 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Detention

At 22:00 on April 5th 2019,Israeli forces detained 1 unidentified resident in east Khan Yunis city as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 15:30 on April 5th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 2 resident and left 3 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
