WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:30 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 7 residents {including 2 children}.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Jamal Mohammed Khafafa, and Mohamed Hamza Ali Moheisen in Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Mounir Dari {15 years old}, Fahad Ayman al-Qaisi {17 years old}, Majd Hatem Shalalda, Amir Khaldoun Mustafa, Ahmed Amer Mahmoud, Saleh Moheisen, and Mohamed Ayman Obeid in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Kabsah area in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Sinjil town and at "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 07:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town.
3. At dawn on April 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Yahya Salah Atta in Deir Abu Mash'al village

Attack

At 16:10, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:20, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghusoun town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:35 and again at 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:40 and again at 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles
3. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jayyous town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 17:45, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed} rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning who were protesting against the continued closure of the east entrance and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Musa Abdel-Latif Qaddumi {17 years old} during clashes near east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed}.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 15:40, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Za'tara checkpoint junction and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Bidya town.

Temporary Detention

At 19:10, Israeli forces positioned near "Arail" settlement roundabout temporarily detained Nidal Al-Jarmi {A Palestinian Police Officer} then released him at a later time.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'arajat road {which connects Jericho and Ramallah & Al-Bireh districts} then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Waljat village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Ta'amra village and detained a resident.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Azza camp in Bethlehem city and summoned Suliman Abdel-Kareem Musa Al-Ajjouz to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sufiyan Amer Mohammad Musa Ta'amra in Al-Ta'amra village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Raq'a area located in east Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp and detained a child.

Detention

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces detained 2 Security Force officers: Younis Mohammed Issa Abu Afifah - from the Palestinian General Intelligence Service, and Issa Shafiq Issa Abu Afifah - from the Presidential Guard in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained Rida Muneer Mohammad Muqabil {17 years old} in Al-Fuwar camp.

Closure of main Roads

At 14:30, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Al-Fah's area in south Hebron city and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards demonstrators in North Gaza, Gaza ,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 8 resident and left several other residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 12:30 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day}located in east Al-Jabaliya town and left several other residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:00 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 3 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

Temporary Detention

At 16:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained a Special Needs patient in east Gaza who allegedly attempted to climb the border fence into Israel then released him at 17:30.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:00 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 3 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15:00 on April 7th 2018,, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city.

Detention

At 20:10 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in east Khan Yunis city as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 15:00 on April 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Rafah city and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
