Daily Report April 9, 2018

1. At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Anata town and detained 2 residents.

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Mishour Adumim"settlement located in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area opened fire towards a resident for allegedly attempting to commit a knife attack and as a result left him critically injured then detained him.

Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured Mohamamd Abdel-Kareem Marshoud {30 years old}{A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city} near "Mishour Adumim"settlement located in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area.

1. At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abed Ajjaj in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Ali Muhisen in Abu Dis town.
3. Israeli forces detained Yazan Ahmad Abdel-Latif and Jihad Musa Al-Silwadi in Anata town.
4. Israeli forces detained Mohamamd Abdel-Kareem Marshoud {30 years old}{A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city} near "Mishour Adumim"settlement located in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area after opening fire towards and critically injuring him for for allegedly attempting to commit a knife attack.

At 10:00, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city forced member of Al-Rawadi Family to vacate their home in order to allow the settlers association to take it over under the pretext that it was allegedly owned by Israeli settlers prior to 1948

1. At 18:05, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Budrus village then stormed and searched a home.

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Yamoun town junction and detained 2 residents.

At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, stormed and searched 2 home then detained a resident.

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Al-Bayada village junction located in the North Jordan Valley then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Migola"settlement junction located in the North Jordan Valley region then searched residents and vehicles.

At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city, stormed and searched a home and detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Hamoudeh Farsan Na'alwa in Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

1. At 08:30 and again at 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city and detained 2 residents.

1. At 17:35, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Salem village and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on April 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and detained a resident.

1. At 21:15, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara Military checkpoint detained Mahmoud Safi Ahmad Atta {A resident of Deir Abu Mash'al village}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Awadallah Jamil Ashtiyeh, Assid Abdul Jalil Ashtiyeh and Amran Khalid Ashtiyeh in Salem village.
3. Israeli forces detained Wassim Hytham Anab in Nablus city.

At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Harris town.

At 01:00, Israeli forces closed Al-Container Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at 01:40.

1. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Minya village located in south Teqou town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints in Yaqin and Wadi Al-Juz area's {located at the entrance of Babi Na'im town} then searched residents and vehicles.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 15:00 on April 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day}located in east Al-Jabaliya town and as a result injured 4 residents and left several other residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 05:00 on April 9th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen bases in North Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 05:25 on April 9th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen bases in east Jabaliya town.

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:00 on April 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Al-Zaytoun neighborhood located in south east Gaza city and as a result injured 6 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:30 on April 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired 9 tank artillery shells towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik located in east Gaza city.

At 11:00 on April 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
