WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At 24:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint detained Anas Saloum {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

Attack

At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Kabsa area in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 17:50, Israeli forces closed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, after forcing worshipers out of the mosque and prevented them from conducting afternoon and evening prayers {after an alleged knife attack towards a Israeli Police officer} during which worshipers were forced to conduct evening prayers outside Al-Absat gate {A main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} then reopened it for morning prayers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 23:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Al Mahkama" Military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.

Detention

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Al Mahkama" Military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city detained Ayad Saed Hussien Abu Edah {15 years old}{A resident of Qaddura Camp in Ramallah city}

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during protests against the construction of the wall in Ni'lin town.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on August 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town then stormed and searched several homes.

Settlers Attacks

On the morning of August 17th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Movo Dotan" settlement leveled a plot of agricultural land in Araba town and as a result uprooted 300 Olive trees owned by Mahmoud Al-Dahidi and his sons Mohammad , Nathmi and Ali {All residents of Arraba town}.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:40.

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in South Tulkarem city {located along Al-Kafriyat road which connects Tulkarem and Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles until 19:55.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jit village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:05 and again 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Habalat tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning as they were protesting against the continued closure of the village entrance.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction located in North Huwarat town and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:00.

Attack

At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Manathrat area located in south Kafr Qalil village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

3. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bruqin town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
4. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town then stormed and searched a vehicle spare parts shop.

Closure of main Roads

At 19:20, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance located in Kafil Harris town and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.
3. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.
2. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Ibrahimi mosque in the Old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards several demonstrators in North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 2 residents, injured 60 residents and left 210 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 14:30 on August 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 8 residents {including 2 Paramedics} and left 35 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 residents {including 2 Paramedics}: Mahmoud Yasser Ayash Al-Masri and Jamal Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Sayid during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 14:30 on August 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Gaza city and as a result injured 15 residents and left 40 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 15 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:30 on August 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations east Al-Buriej camp and as a result killed a resident, injured 19 residents and left 60 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Kareem Ahmad Ali Fatayir {28 years old}{A resident of Deir Al-Balah city} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 19 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 14:30 on August 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 10 residents and left 35 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 14:30 on August 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Rafah city and as a result killed a resident, injured 8 residents and left 40 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Sa'di Akram Mohammad Abu Mu'ammar {27 years old}{A resident of Rafah city} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents during clashes in east Rafah city.
