WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {near "Malee Adumim" settlement} and detained a resident.

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Ijza village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 06:30 on August 1st 2018, Israeli forces detained Wissam Waleed Nassar {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Al-Zaghat {A resident of Shu'fat camp}.
3. At 17:15, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jawad Jamil Hassan Siyam, Mu'taz Fayiz Jum'a Al-Rajabi and Zuhier Abdel-Fattah Al-Rajabi in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {near "Malee Adumim" settlement} detained Ramiz Ra'fat Hanhin Aliyan {A resident of Al-Duhishat camp in Bethlehem city}.
5. Israeli forces detained Khalid Mahmoud Faheem in Beit Ijza' village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:05, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town until 13:55.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town until 15:40.
3. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Shikhedium village, clashed with several residents, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:35.
4. At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Eibwein town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Tarik Ziyad Abu Shikhedium and Murad Yusef Kandah in Abu Shikhedium village.
2. Israeli forces detained Khalid Nidal Aqalat in Eibwein town.

Attack

At 03:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Abu Shikhedium village.

JENIN

At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, stormed and searched a home and confiscated a vehicle.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Adnan Hamarshat during their raid into Ya'bad town.

At 14:00,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:30.

At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Anabta town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 03:40.

QALQILIYA

At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablat tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 05:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Abdel-Kareem Al-Ghafar Maskawi in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 01:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 3 homes during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba'a area {located near the entrance of Tel village} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:10.

Raid

At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's tomb, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents including a journalist then withdrew at 03:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Hamzawi in Nablus city.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's tomb during their raid into Nablus city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ameer Nael Dweikat and Mu'tasim Samir Hamdi Saqif Al-Heit {A journalist} in Nablus city.

Assaults on Property

On the morning of August 1st 2018, Israeli forces prevented employees from Beita town municipality from installing a electrical network in Jabal Subieh area of Beita town, temporarily detained the driver transporting the employees and the mayor of Beita town and took them to Huwara military base then released them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

On the morning of August 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Subieh area of Beita town temporarily detained 2 residents including Fo'ad Ma'ali {the mayor of Beita town council} and a unidentified driver and took them to Huwara military base then released them at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90} near Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.
2. At 07:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:40.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Jorat Al-Sham'a village and detained a resident.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town and detained a Presidential Security forces officer.
3. At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Za'tara town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Issa Ali Ahmad Ismail Fawakhrat in Jurat Al-Sham'a village.
2. Israeli forces detained Sami Salim Al-Sabah { a Presidential Security forces officer} in Teqou' town.
3. Israeli forces detained Hafith Daud Thowieb in Za'tara town.

Physical Assault

At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint assaulted Malik Ihaq Masaf'a {A resident of Al-Arub camp in Hebron district} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Settlement Activities

On August 1st 2018, Israeli forces stormed Beit Ta'mar village and leveled a plot of land in the area between "Nokdim" and "Eldad" settlements for the purpose of constricting a park on approximately 100 dunums of land in the area.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on August 2nd 2018,Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents and confiscated a vehicles.
2. At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Abdel-Nasser Abdel-Hameed Abu Mariya, Ala Jihad Ali Sabarna and Abdallah Mohammad Hamdi Abu Mariya in Beit Ummar town.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Jallal Ahmad Abdel-Hameed Baraghith during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

Destruction of Property

On August 1st 2018, Israeli forces leveled 12 dunums of land currently extended to Al-Arrub camp cemetery .

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and openeing fire towards Gaza and Central Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

On the morning of August 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

On the afternoon of August 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
