WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli Military forces closed Qalandiya Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic {after the throwing of a Molotov cocktail firebomb towards the checkpoint} then reopened it at a later time.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Anata town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces detained Majd Majed Al-Rashiq in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces detained Omar Al-Salfiti {a Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in Jerusalem city.
3. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Baha Abu Taya and Abdel-Rahman Fawzi Abu Taya in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Nasser Mafarjat and Ameer Mahmoud Arifat in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 12:30,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 19th 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarat town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village,stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:00.

JENIN

Raid

At 04:35, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and Jenin camp then detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Hassan Hamed al-Khatib {Jenin city resident}, Hassan Sa'id Hseis {Jenin city resident} and Mohammed Khaled Abu Sbeih {Jenin camp resident} during their raid into Jenin city and Jenin camp.

TULKAREM

Raid

On August 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town and summoned Loai Mislih Rashid to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

On August 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained Loai Mislih Rashid {a residents of Beit Lid town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Confiscation of Property

At 09:30, Israeli forces confiscated a agricultural den owned by Dasouqi family located near the entrance of Jabarat village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 and again at 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:00 on August 19th 2019, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Azzun town and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at 21:30.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions until reopening it at a later time.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces closed Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb then clashed with several residents and as a result injured 5 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 03:40.

Attack

At 22:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into and as a result injured 5 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 residents {of those identified}: Ahmad Jamal Ahmad Abdallah during clashes in Nablus city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 22:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge {located along the road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Raid

1. On the morning of August 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Khalayil Al-Louz village and detained a resident.
2. At 02:10 on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 06:20 on August 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Abu Mahameed {A National Security Force officer} during their raid into Beit Ta'mar village {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained Sa'di Mahmoud Abdel-Hadi in Khalayil Al-Louz village.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Omar Ma'moun Abdel-Qadder Budier and Farouq Ma'moun Abdel-Qadder Budier in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

Confiscation of Property

On August 19th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a mobile home owned by Mohammad Musa Shushat in Husan village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahab junction located in Abu Sineina neighborhood in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Bayar Aqnan area located in Al-Samou' town and detained a resident.
2. At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town and detained 6 residents.
3. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Surif town, stormed and searched a home then confiscated a vehicle.
4. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Daghamin in Bayar Aqnan area located in Al-Samou' town.
2. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Muawiyah Saleh Al-Asafra, Ahmed Issa Kanaan Al-Zuhour, Momen Saeed Al-Zuhour, Mahmoud Kamel Al-Atawneh, Mohammed Aref Al-Asafra, and his brother Ahmed in Beit Kahil town.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces confiscated a storage den {approximately 200 m2} owned by Mohammad Rashid Da'is in Deir Razih village which is located in south Dura town.
2. At dawn on August 20th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ala Hamidat in Surif town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.

* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:40 on August 19th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 09:50 on August 19th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
