WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Deportation

1. On August 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning the child: Omar Abu Shuishat {14 years old} {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
2. On August 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Majd Majed Al-Rashiq {a resident of the old city of Jerusalem} from entering Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city for a period of 15 days and fined him 700 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
3. On August 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Shifa Abu Ghaliyat and Madalin Issa {both residents of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 7 days as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Quds University campus in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

House Demolition

On April 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city forced Mohammad Al-Abbassi to demolish his owned home after serving a military order for its demolition an earlier time and threatened to fine him in the event Israeli forces demolished the home for allegedly being built without a licences.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 23rd 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up 21 checkpoints at the entrances of Turmus'aya, Sinjil, Abboud, Beituniya and Ni'lin towns and Beitin, Ein Yabroud, Shuqba, Qibya, Al-Nabi Saleh, Deir Intham , Deir Abu Mash'al, Deir Ammar, Deir Qaddis, Ras Karkar, Khirbithat Bani Harrith, Deir Ibzi' villages, beneath Yabroud village bridge, at Ein Sinya village roundabout, Surda village junction, along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp near Bet El settlement {after an unidentified explosive device detonated near "Dolev settlement which is located near Deir Ibzi' village and as a result killed a Israeli settler and injured 2 other settlers} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town {after an unidentified explosive device detonated near "Dolev settlement which is located near Deir Ibzi' village and as a result killed a Israeli settler and injured 2 other settlers} and confiscated surveillance camera footage from Sarsour company building.
2. At 12:35 and again at dawn on August 24th 2019,Israeli forces raided Deir Ibzi' village {after an unidentified explosive device detonated near "Dolev settlement which is located near Deir Ibzi' village and as a result killed a Israeli settler and injured 2 other settlers} then detained 2 residents.
3. At dawn on August 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Ein Qinya village and detained a University student.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ribhi Abu Al-Safa and Mohammad Nayef Abu Al-Safa in Deir Ibzi' village.
2. Israeli forces detained Assrar Ismail {a University student} in Ein Qinya village.

Temporary Detention

At 12:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained Hisham Abu Shaqra {a journalist} near "Dolev" settlement located near Deir Ibzi' village {after an unidentified explosive device detonated near "Dolev settlement which is located near Deir Ibzi' village which killed 1 Israeli settler and injured 2 others} then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Beituniya town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in Ein Ayoub area located near Ras Kar Kar village stoned several residents and vehicles traveling along the main road between Ras Kar Kar and Khirbithat Bani Harith villages.
2. At 14:10, a group of Israeli settler positioned near the entrance of Beitin village stoned residents and vehicles traveling near the area.
3. At 21:25, Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Turmus'aya town stoned vehicles travelling along {the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus} and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Ayed Ka'abna {a resident of Bir Ziet town}.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:45,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Attack

At 12:55, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Zeita town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several workers and as a result injured Majd Mo'ayad Al-Aswad {a resident of Kafr Al-Labbad town} leaving him suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village.

Attack

At 13:30,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ghassan Assaf {a resident of Kafr Laqif village} during clashes at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military}.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:05, Israeli forces closed Beit Furik and Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening them at 17:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Beita town and Burin village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:10,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 03:15.

Raid

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bithan village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed park area.
2. On August 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area then clashed with several residents.

Attack

On August 23rd 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in Sabastiya village.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 14:45, Israeli forces closed the steel entrance gate located in Madma village and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces closed the bypass road near "Yitshar" settlement which leads to Jit village junction in Qalqiliya district and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions until reopening it at 17:00.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:15, Israeli settlers set fire to agricultural land in the area between Burin and Madma villages before Israeli Civil defense forces were able to extinguish the flames.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Yassuf village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:25.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:25.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit then searched residents and vehicles.

Physical Assault

At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint assaulted Mohammad Farid Tallal Awad {a resident of Saris village in Jenin district} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:45.
2. At 12:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
3. At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Um Al-Rakaba area located in Al-Khader town hen searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
5. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jala city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:45.
6. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:20.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in South Hebron city and at the entrances of Beit Ummar town and Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Karnatina area located in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Al-Shanjnat village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 00:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 00:45, Israeli forces detained Assmad Jihad Ji'arat near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

Physical Assault

At 11:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron assaulted Mohammad Sa'ed Al-Din Al-Zarro {a resident of Hebron city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Attack

At 21:50, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 15:20, a group of Israeli settler positioned near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement in east Hebron city stoned vehicles travelling along road {60} near the settlement.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. At 15:00 on August 23rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 34 resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 34 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:00 on August 23rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 17 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

CENTRAL GAZA

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 12:00 on August 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 15:00 on August 23rd 2019,,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 28 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 28 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of pilgrimages returning from Saudi Arabia.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
