Flying Checkpoints

1. At 23:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Ein Yabrud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Silwad town {located near "Ofrat} settlement}, Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya and Yabrud villages then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mughier village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations against the construction of the wall in Ni'lin town.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations against the construction of the wall in Bil'in town.

JENIN

Raid

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Taybeh village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Khalid Ahmad Sadiq Ighbariya in Al-Taybeh village.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of August 24th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Silat Al-Thaher town, stoned several vehicles and residents travelling along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations against the closure of the village entrance and as a result injured 8 residents {including a child and a Norwegian peace activist named Kristin Foles.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 residents {including a child and a Norwegian peace activist named Kristin Foles}: Mo'men Murad Ishtewi {8 years old}, Aweis Abdel-Raziq Omar, Rami Mubdi Obeid, Mohammad Jamil Jum'a and Akef Abdel-Ra'uf Jum'a during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

At 16:00, Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Al-Wadi area located in west Al-Sawiya village and chopped off the limbs of approximately 30 Olive trees owned by Hassan Mahmoud Ahmad.

HEBRON

Attack

At 13:40 and again at 20:30, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire a from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza,Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 50 residents and left 139 suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of emergency medical and humanitarian cases from the Gaza strip}.

At 16:50 on August 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 8 residents and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 16:50 on August 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Gaza city and as a result injured 13 residents and left 38 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 07:30 on August 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Nassirat camp.
2. At 10:30 on August 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Deir Al-Balah city.
3. At 16:50 on August 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 14 residents and left 42 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:30 on August 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
2. At 16:50 on August 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in the march the Right of Return demonstrations in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 10 residents and left 27 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
