WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town tunnel then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town.

Attack

At 21:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

On August 27th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Mohammad Abu Al-Hummus {a resident of Al-Eisawiya village} from his place of residence until September 15th 2019 and fined 10000 NIS and an additional 1000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 27th 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:00, ,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Tayba village junction {located along Al-Murajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Attara town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:20 and again at 04:50, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and a gas station then confiscated surveillance camera footage from the gas station.
2. At dawn on August 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Budrous village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Osama Mohammad Hanoun and Ameer Mahmoud Hassan Marar in Budrous village.

Attack

At 04:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and a gas station during their raid into Beituniya town.

2. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Deir Al-Ghosoun and Anabta towns then detained a resident in Anabta town.

Israeli forces detained Ameer Ibrahim Hanoun in Anabta town.

QALQILIYA

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed and searched 3 homes.

At 23:20 on August 26th 2019, Israeli forces detained Thaer Sufiyan Rashiyat during their raid into Azzun town {as mentioned in the previous report}.

NABLUS

1. At 11:00,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Dar Salah village.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town and detained a resident.
3. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Ta'mar, Harmala and Rakhmat villages.
4. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained 5 residents {including 3 children} and summoned Ramzi Omar Qawar to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 01:10, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint detained Yahya Ahmad Al-Khamour {a resident of Al-Duhishat camp in Bethlehem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ala Daoud Ahmad Al-Amour in Teqou' town.
3.Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Yazan Hamza al-Kurdi {17 years old}, Laith Fadi Naji Abu Aker {15 years old}, Mohammed Amjad 'Olayan {17 years old}, Mahdi Omar Deeb al-Badawneh, and Mohammed Imad Ibrahim Radhi in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:15 and again at 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and clashed with several residents.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and clashed with several residents as they stormed a home.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Dahriya town.

Detention

1. At dawn on August 27th 2019, Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Abdul Mahdi Badawi al-Zuhur, Mu'in Muhammad Badawi al-Zuhur, Muhammad Aref Al-Asafra, Ali Aref Al-Asafra, Ahmed Aref Al-Asafra, Momen Saeed Al-Zuhoor, and Ahmed Issa Kanaan Al-Zuhoor during their raid into Beit Kahil town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 21:55, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained Yassin Yusef Makhazrat {a resident of Al-Dahriya town}.

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during their raid into Hebron city.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Military Jets broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in Central Gaza district.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 4 projectiles towards the Green Line {3 of which landed inside the Gaza strip}.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:30 on August 27th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels launched 4 artillery shells towards the shores of Deir Al-Balah city.

Air Strike

At 15:35 on August 27th 2019,Israeli military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Al-Buriej camp.

Palestinian Attacks

At 15:00 on August 27th 2019,Palestinian Gunmen launched 4 projectiles towards the Green Line {3 of which landed inside the Gaza strip}.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
