WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on August 28th 2019,Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.
2. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp, stormed and searched a home and detained a University student.
3. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Abu Shaheen {a resident of Bir Nabala town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Ayman Obied,Mohammad Bashir and Mahmoud Mohammad Obied in Al-Eisawiya village.
3. Israeli forces detained Mayes Abu Ghoush {a University student} in Qalandiya camp.
4. Israeli forces detained Salah El Din Sa'ay in Al-Ram town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 28th 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Raid

At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town and Ein Arik village, clashed with several residents as they stormed a building and confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 00:30.

Attack

At 18:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts as they stormed a building during their raid into Beituniya town and Ein Arik village.

Destruction of Property

On August 28th 2019, Israeli forces leveled a agricultural road approximately 800 meters long in Al-Ein area located in Al-Tera village after the local village council approved the construction which would ease movement for students as they travel to school. {which would help reach bypass road 443 in a much shorter time after they were forced to take a much longer and more dangerous route which is located near the wall gate}

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Talfit village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on August 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident , temporarily detained 6 residents then released them after they were taken for questioning by Israeli Intelligence officers in "Movo dotan" settlement.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hussien Amarna in Ya'bad town.

Temporary Detention

At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 6 residents: Mohammed Abu Bakr, As'ad Issam Quneiri, Abdullah Basim Abadi, Aqab Nafiat, Antar Nafiyat and Yazan Hamarshat during their raid into Ya'bad town then released them after they were taken for questioning by Israeli Intelligence officers in "Movo dotan" settlement.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Kadumim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Jama'in town, stormed a gas station, confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 03:50.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of August 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Masaudiya archaeological area located near Burqa village then stormed a home.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 23:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on August 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Rafat village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Ibrahim Judat in Rafat village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jala city then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Azat camp in Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hussien Jallal Hussien Masalmat and Soliman Abdel-Kareem Al-Ajouz in Al-Azat camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Huwawir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained 10 residents {including a Palestinian Police Force Officer}.
2. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 01:30 on August 28th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Shadi Izat Mohammad Samasrat and Tamer Izat Mohammad Samasrat during their raid into Al-Thahriya town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained 10 residents: Thaer Abdul Rahman Al-Harini, Nabil Diab Awad Abu Qubaita, Raafat Maher Al-Adra, Alaa Maher Abu Qubaita, Ibrahim Mousa Makhamreh, Omar Amer Yousef Al-Harini, Ibrahim Abdel-Harini, Raafat Sami Qubaita, Ahmad Musa Al-Shuraqi Al-Najjar, and Thaer Takamish Al-Nawajaa in Yatta town.
3. Israeli forces detained Alaa Baradiya in Surif town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Military Jets broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in North Gaza district.

• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 4 projectiles towards the Green Line { which landed inside the Gaza strip}.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 09:00 on August 28th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

At 21:55 on August 28th 2019,Israeli military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in North Beit Lahiya town.

Palestinian Attacks

At 21:20 on August 28th 2019, ,Palestinian Gunmen launched a projectile towards the Green Line {which landed inside the Gaza strip}.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 07:30 on August 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'at town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is exit and entry of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
